Can anyone ellaborate on why the accreditation status is accreditation with heightened monitoring? Online it says this status means “ that a COM is not compliant with one to two standards and ongoing monitoring will occur through progress reporting and annual reports.” I guess I am really wanting to know why DCOM has been placed under heightened monitoring like where did their compliance falter?

Curious as to why on AACOMAS there is a space to add ACT/SAT but not MCAT. I've sent my MCAT score electronically to AACOMAS but how can I see on my application if it has been received? And do you guys think it is worth putting an SAT score? lol

I don't know. I've given up on this school since I haven't heard anything since july. My stats are almost identical to their averages so I have no clue why I've been overlooked. I remember you posting your stats, and they're better than mine, so if you haven't heard, I probably won't either.

i heard they are really looking at mission fit for me. i think the regional bias. i applied last year and wasn't given an ii despite being close to their average.

That confuses me even more because I'm a resident of their neighboring state, and good mission fit (or so I think). Oh well...

I've been under review for over 2 months now at so many DO schools, really hoping some of them decide to give me IIs 🙁(
Same here. Only 1 DO interview so far. I hope I get an A this week. so I can feel a little less stressed for the duration of the cycle.

For those who have interviewed, how was the group interview style and what types of questions were you asked?
I found DCOM's interview feedback page to be quite helpful! You could be asked any of the questions on there in addition to questions not included there. I found the group interview setting to be quite low-key. My fellow interviewees were all friendly and no one dominated the conversation. My interviewers asked the 3 of us the same questions, but I know that wasn't the case for everyone. It just depends on who interviews you. Just know your story and be yourself, and you should be in good shape. 🙂

when do you confirm which campus you rather attend? Harrogate or Knoxville
Congrats on the II! It's the second-best feeling (after the feeling of being accepted, ofc)!

After you are accepted, you can submit your campus preference. As long as there are still spots at both campuses, you will have the opportunity to choose. On interview day, we were told that they try their very best to accommodate each student's campus preference. 🙂
