I might be wrong, but I felt like they were reading my app for the first time and just going down the list of my activities. If you know your activities well and can relate them to things like ur strengths/weakness u should be fine. Def know your research
do you felt like they had read your PS or secondaries? or was it just them going through your W/A on the spot?

They might have but they didnt ask me anything about them or talk about it, really only asked about W/A. But thats just my experience, other interviewers may be different

Anyone else's interviews not read their app till the actual interview and asked super generic questions but not why med or why Penn State, couldn't get a read on them
No, my interviewers knew my application very well.

any idea about interviews in late november? mine is on the 28. i would love to hear back before the holidays.
They told me about 8 weeks for my interview few weeks back, so I think nov interviews hear back in Jan

I interviewed 12/3 and a friend of mine interviewed 11/27 or so last year and we both heard back on 1/27. Mid-Late November ppl and December people don't anticipate hearing before the end of the year
especially since this year they're changing deans out, moving things around, etc.

Do you happen to have an estimate for early/mid-October people? Thank you!

anyone already did their interview and have some tips/advice on the questions they asked? i'm really nervous about mine since this is my first one. i'm worried about potential ethical dilemmas and healthcare system/policy questions.
They only asked me things I listed on my application! General why PSU, volunteering experiences, why medicine, etc. We only talked about healthcare systemic problems because I mentioned it my essays/application activities

oh okay! did this include questions about your personal statement as well? did you get asked about your stance on debated topics like abortion, euthanasia, etc.?
Not questions but general discussions about what I included in it, like comments about it! And nah, nothing super controversial like that. They asked about medical humanities and bioethics because I mentioned it in my essays because they have a strong focus on it. But they never asked anything about a specific health care policy

Does anyone have information on what sort of computer/ technology requirements Penn state has for students?

any recent II's here? still waiting on one for me 😤

Pre-II Hold just now. Was complete 9/26 (was waiting on Casper). URM & OOS. Not sure if this hold is a good thing since there's already been a few waves of Rs?
