Late to posting but Pre-II R on 9/13, first R but we keep going! Complete 8/3

OOS II last week. Just to keep the faith for those of you waiting, LM of 71! But lots of research and pretty active in community/clinical work.

yes, interviewed here last week
Congrats on the interview! I hope it went good!

For all of us still waiting, do you mind sharing any tips or what to expect during the interview?

Thank you!

Yeah of course! It was super relaxed and very conversational, I personally didn’t have many direct questions. It’s with one faculty member and my interview was about an hour long! You get the name of your interviewer the day before🙂

Has anyone that was complete after August 11 gotten any news yet?

Complete 7/31, still waiting. Let's see if I just jinxed myself or not.

II, interview next week. LM 70 WARS 90. Completed late July.

Did the info session yesterday morning. Cameras are on but not suit and tie formal! Was in the same boat as you re work.

Thank you for the reply! So everyone was just wearing normal clothes like t-shirts, or was it like dress shirts at least?

How did you demonstrate these strong ties if you don't mind me asking?
Lol literally me trying to figure out how to tell a school that I grew up in their state, and I even have a tattoo of the state's outline. Not appropriate to write that in a secondary 🤣

I threw in my connections to Boston as part of experiences that would prepare me for their "unique learning environment"

Officially threw my hat in the ring. No more fomo!
Caught the R on Friday unfortunately (submitted 8/29), the absolute nicest and most thoughtful rejection letter I’ve ever received.
To those who stalk this thread in future cycles: knowing a definitive answer after shooting my shot is much better than spending the past few months (and possibly many years to come) wondering “what if?”
Best of luck to everyone still in the running!!!
