For anyone who has interviewed so far, how was your experience? Conversational, traditional questions, and/or high stress?

I personally had a wonderful interview experience. The interview was conversational, the questions were traditional, and my interviewer clearly took the time to read my application from start to finish.

The interview is just one session on your interview day, right? My invitation email told me to sign up for an info session and a student panel, which I’m doing about a week before my interview. To my knowledge there’s nothing else scheduled on my interview day except the interview. Does this sound accurate?

My interview (Early September) was high stress and honestly quite jarring compared to my other 8 interviews thus far. The entire thing was about 45 minutes and first involved my interviewer fixating on very specific details of my activity descriptions, almost as if to see if I was lying about them. It then transitioned into one hypothetical ethical scenario, where the interviewer asked multiple follow up questions. Our dialogue and the interviewer's responses were presented in such a manner that it seemed like the interviewer was trying to lead me into an inappropriate response. Feel free to PM for more details. Not trying to scare anyone, was just unexpected and very nontraditional.

i had my interview today, my interviewer was very sweet and took the time to read over my application and asked me a bunch of questions pertaining to my activities and also about where i lived and stuff. nothing out of left field

Yep, that's correct! On your interview day, it's just the one interview that'll run for approximately 60 minutes.

Just now Pre-II R, was put on hold for first round of rejections.

Submitted secondary on 8/29 as a last minute addition

Had you received an email or a portal status change for being placed on hold?
Yes I did. I also emailed admissions about the hold bc I thought something was wrong with my app and they removed my hold saying it was all set…

This was before I knew how schools used holds to reconsider your app later on

Can I ask if this was an administrative hold or an admissions decision hold? Mine was also placed on hold but that was only while awaiting Casper scores.

I am not sure, but I had submitted everything the school needed.

This is part of what it read “
Your application to Chobanian & Avedisian SOM has been placed on hold, pending the receipt of the following: Other*.

Please contact the Office of Admissions for more details.

Once the reason for the hold is satisfied, we will send you another email to let you know that the hold has been removed.”

If you haven't heard back, its hella good bc BU rejected a lot
Is this true? Is it not the case that they just have not yet read our applications for whatever sorting reasons? I was complete 8/10 and haven't hear anything back yet. LM 72 with 4th quartile on Casper.
