no way to know for sure but GW gets a TON of apps and therefore has a ton of Rs

Considering they only send ~800 interviews and receive 15,000+ apps, there will be a lot of Rs

Guessing there's no point reaching out if our portal still says "complete" and submitted on 7/17?

Complete since 7/11 and I’m beginning to think it’s not a good thing🙁
The very first interview invitations went out less than 2 weeks ago, so "no news" means you are still eligible for a future interview.
As you can see from the last few pages on here, they have been sending out some tough news to some they have decided not to interview.

Checked my portal this morning to find “Your file has been reviewed and you will receive a formal invitation by email about how to schedule a virtual interview. Until the time the formal invitation is sent, there is nothing additional you must do.”

Just curious how long it has taken people to receive email invites following portal change?

i got mine within a few hours

Checked the portal and I’m on hold 😭 complete since 7/14

Is hold basically Soft R for a school like GW with so many apps? I know it was mentioned before but lost in all these pages 😩

if you read the prior pages you will see they are not hesitant to reject some, so a hold is not a R

Also got put on a hold no notification so I don't know when that happened.

I think there's nothing that makes them think, "oh we really want this person they're exactly what we need" so they're still shopping around but think we have potential to be a part of the class. They have a huge application volume so I'm thinking it's more like a screen for massive green and red flags.

any advice for interviewing here? tips on how to prepare and what they're looking for since their post II acceptance rate is so low.

these R waves have me like
Awkward The Office GIF

is #3 an optional question / drop down question? I haven't received the secondary yet so I am pre-writing it

I'm wondering how the post II A% plays into the timeline - if anyone has any insights on this, it'd be appreciated. I'm assuming if you have an earlier interview, you have a higher chance of being accepted into GW?
