I'm wondering how the post II A% plays into the timeline - if anyone has any insights on this, it'd be appreciated. I'm assuming if you have an earlier interview, you have a higher chance of being accepted into GW?

Are there any past/current students in this thread? I'm wondering generally how long the admission's committee waits after interviews to release a decision.

I'm asking because I'm wondering when I should send in my update letter / letter of interest after a late September interview date. I want to wait till Oct 17 for my PREview score to come out so I can include that in the letter. However, if the decision will come out before that, I want my letter to go in earlier so it can be considered as part of the decision.

I only received an order confirmation email but not a complete email. I’ve been placed on hold since late august.

I'm rarely one to try to read into these things but I've been on "complete" since 7/19. I'd be very surprised if they haven't taken a look at my app yet... in which case, they have not decided they dislike me enough to give me an R nor do they like me enough for interview. If this is the case then just give me a hold... isn't that the purpose of the "hold" update?

I know someone that just got a hold last week that was complete day one. Don’t read into it or assume anything like that.

I agree, reading into this is a fruitless task. I just wish it made more sense haha

While not this school, I know people on the adcom of a different "low yield" school, and the way it works there is everyone is assigned a "screener" when they submit. Some screeners are faster/go in a different order than other screeners. Don't fret about it so much right now. its not over until that R comes in. At least thats what I'm telling myself with 0 II so far lol
