Is there a GroupMe for admitted students?
To my fellow Late October interviewees, got a response from admin explaining that they meant to tell us during interview day we would find out in late Jan, and likely accidently told us mid Dec. Date range they gave for the second wave was between Jan 29th-31st.

Aw man they told my interview group mid-Jan and I had my hopes up for Jan 15thTo my fellow Late October interviewees, got a response from admin explaining that they meant to tell us during interview day we would find out in late Jan, and likely accidently told us mid Dec. Date range they gave for the second wave was between Jan 29th-31st.
It seems like the interviewers at this school are part of the admissions committee that votes and advocates for the students during the meeting unlike other schools where interviewers just write up a report and have no say in the admissions. Hope this means a positive interview here helps you a lot
They do not accept pre-II updates, only accept post-II updatesGuys, I'm assuming JHU doesn't accept any Pre-II updates?

Does anyone know if us Nov/Dec interviewees are hearing back in mid-jan or end of jan? This month is killing me.
If the info I was told on my interview day and what others reported here still holds true, those who interviewed 12/8 or earlier should hear back by the end of January and those who interviewed after will be in another batch.Does anyone know if us Nov/Dec interviewees are hearing back in mid-jan or end of jan? Ooo we're putting our bets in!! I don't want to be right but I'll stake my claim on Jan 31st, 2024 :,)Just an FYI, don't take what you were told by JHU staff at your interview date as gospel. Those of us who interviewed at the end of October were told we would be in the first round of decisions. This turned out to be incorrect. There are just so many moving pieces and so many players involved that mistakes can be made despite the best of intentions.
Good luck to everyone on I'm guessing January 29, 2024!
This was extremely painful lol. Just wanted to echo to not get your hopes fully set on a specific date and possibly try to expect the worst.Just an FYI, don't take what you were told by JHU staff at your interview date as gospel.
