2023-2024 Pennsylvania (Perelman)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
volunteer with an animal shelter (because i've always spent my volunteer time with people and really want more cats in my life), plan out an apartment (thrift everything!), read some fantasy books, sleep a lot, spend a lot of time in the sun, exercise and train for myself. It's only 2-3 months and you deserve a break
taking inspo from this, also i <3 cats too heheh

Did any of you receive a confirmation email after submitting an update letter to the portal?

This may be a dumb question but who’s the dean of Admissions at Penn? I know it was mentioned previously that Dean of the school and dean of admissions are not the same so I’m assuming it’s not Dr. Epstein?

It could honestly be by mid-March. But I honestly took a screenshot of their timeline and they said
March (mid) - Decisions announced, Submit CSS Profile
So whatever that could mean

On their website it says that decisions will be released on March 15th, 2024
That's their final deadline ("decisions will released BY March 15th, 2024"), but I would think there's a good chance it gets released 1-2 weeks in advance

Do they release scholarship info at the same time or later?

And anyone know when their second look has been in past years?

Scholarships come later. Looked at a couple earlier threads and scholarships seemed to be announced late March/early April

Wait but I thought they were not rolling? So they are jus gonna release results on some random day before then

I remember admissions saying they give about 1/3 of the class some amount of scholarship (not need based) money- does anyone remember the specifics on this?
