Can someone talk about how class is structured for first year students? Realistically, how often do I have to attend in person first semester? I heard lectures are recorded?

I believe for the first semester, all lectures are mandatory, and then they are recorded to reference back to but someone correct me if I’m wrong lol

Just called SHSU today. They said that the seats might be completely filled by the end of May. The reason why there isnt as many WL movements for this year is because of SHSU new board scores and placement. Along with the instate tuition of course.
Bummer. 1 of the 3 I am WL @.

I’m thinking of calling the school today about the waitlist and updates that I have, but I also don’t know if it’s right to do that, since today is the last day for those who are holding multiple spots.

Pretty sure April 30 was the last day to hold multiple acceptances, so I don’t think it would hurt to call

Do they allow emails for letter of interest? I know in the past people said they didn’t.

Does anyone know if Sam Houston State University has a deferral policy, in case someone wants to join one year later.
