has anyone ever tried emailing them and gotten a response? I’ve emailed twice so far with no response and pointed out that there was a mistake on their application portal — they have fixed the mistake but still nothing?

Does hold mean a soft R for this school?

Their email says they will likely interview people off the hold list by February, but how many they place on hold and what percent they interview is a mystery. If anyone has any sort of data on this it would be nice to know!

Edit: looked through some past Reddit posts and looks like max 5-10% of people make it off the hold list. But one year no one made it off at all. So basically an R but might get lucky.
