are they done sending IIs? would it be wise to send a letter of interest? heard they dont take them at this school just wanted to check :/

Again, more IIs should and can be expected in the new year. VCU will form WL at the end of April so until then, there should be a couple more waves of IIs to schedule out to mid March.

I will also say they have 4 dates in which they release acceptance offers. Each date supposedly they try to fill about 25-30% of their class. Since it seems like one of those dates was moved to Monday, after Monday, they likely will have about 50-60% of their class filled, and that’s assuming everyone they accept, accepts their offer too. So, I do not think they are done interviewing if you have not gotten an II, and until their last acceptance offer date March 15th, you would likely still be interviewing for a seat not a waitlist spot.
 
Does anybody know if VCU will have an accepted students day? And if so, when it will be/if it will be in person?

So if I received a "Hold After Selection Committee" email but did not get any emails today is this a pass? Do they not tell you anything if they pass on you?

That's right. You won't get any notification if they passed on you after the hold until some decision has been made (WL in April or A in the next two release dates). In cases of where people have posted on getting additional notifications after the initial batch, it's more likely the posters posted several hours after they actually received the email. Highly unlikely they release on multiple time points on the same day.

There were people saying they thought they were passed over because of early As and then ended up getting accepted later in the day though. Like they were keeping up with the thread. I guess we’ll see.

You never know but likely one-off cases

They have a near 70% conversion for OOS post interview, should get some favorable news at some point. IS conversion is 34% though.
 
Does anyone know if they review LORs before or after the interview?

Why would this matter in the grand scheme of things? Chances are, they are reviewed prior and again after as a whole package.
 
I know VCU does not accept updates but does anyone know if this includes grades? I just finished my fall semester and was wondering if I could send an unofficial transcript to them.
 
I have a feeling those of us who are getting passed on won’t hear anything until May/june, we’re just coping until then
 
For fmstat applicants, is it possible to be accepted to the school and rejected from fmstat? Or are they a package deal? I can’t seem to figure out that answer from their website.

Acceptance to VCU is unrelated to fmSTAT, and fmSTAT can only offer you admission if you have been accepted by VCU.

So you can either be accepted by VCU and rejected by fmSTAT, accepted by both, or rejected by VCU
