i’d never say never for this! there is supposed to be a lot of waitlist movement, and they seem to always accept a limited number of applicants with each interview. personally, i think you have nothing to really lose with completing the interview, the waitlist is super unpredictable

do you think they're preparing you well for the boards? i know they had a huge increase in the pass rate this year, but what has your experience been like? i also really appreciate your honesty with everything!

I can't speak to it a whole lot, but sometimes the exams don't feel like they're board style or board info relevant (all in house exams btw). For example, we have a professor who this block told us "when my slides say low yield, I mean that its low yield for board exams but not for my exam." I just know that most students, especially the ones getting the highest board scores, prep using almost entirely 3rd party resources. I'm also not entirely sure, but they may have upped the minimum COMSAE score you need to be allowed to take boards (don't take that as gospel, I just remember hearing something about that, but this is much more a 2nd year question so I'll speak to it in the little that I can).

i don't think schools ever report that, it's usually only known through sites like cycle tracker. their acceptance rate is in the 90% range, so they accept or waitlist a majority of applicants in each interview sessions
