We can for sure confirm this upcoming Monday since they update their tracker every Monday! Usually, they report interview invites on their social media so I'd assume they would do the same for acceptances. I haven't seen anything yet. Fingers crossed, I wish the BEST for everyone : )

It was wonderful. They work so hard to make you feel comfortable. U of M's interview is definitely one of my most memorable interviews. I loved the experience, and they constantly encouraged us throughout the interview. If they were able to hug us from over the screen, they would've 😆. Be yourself. They invited you for an interview because they loved YOU, so show your interviewer what a wonderful person YOU are by being YOU. The vibes were super chill.

I’m waiting on a school as well who promised the week of the 15th but hasn’t done anything besides a few IS A’s. Just saying that so people know that schools could just be busy and their timeline didn’t work out as planned.
 
The other possibility I can think of is that they are waiting to send a decision for everyone who interviewed in September at the end of this month. Since they say you’re guaranteed a decision by the end of the month after you interview, maybe that could be the case? No idea though

OOS A!!!!! They send you an email with a link to a video. Not going to describe the video so everyone else can be just as surprised as I was. Most certainly an absolutely one of a kind acceptance notification!

I adore this school so much!!!

Edit: interviewed 9/12, the first interview day

OOS deferred decision emailed today. I know it's not the same as R and Michigan was one of my biggest reach schools, but still sobbed when I opened it. Big congrats on the As, you are all awesome and very deserving 😍 And good luck to all those hoping for II or A!!!

Edit: II 8/12, interviewed 9/19 (will be taking a break from this thread for a bit now)

Nah nah y’all, when we were confused it was this champion right here who brought us clarity. We must ensure this deferral turns into an A!! I’m certain it will!

wondering if anyone received anything regarding accepting the offer (different from the commit to enroll that is in may)? For other schools, a tab on amp showed up when I got accepted to accept/reject the offer and it had a deadline, does umich have anything similar to that?

No, the follow-up email said our spots are automatically held until April 30!

The letter was personalized, they listed what they liked in my application and there was a handwritten note from the Dean at the end. I LOVE THEM, they don't miss a chance to make you feel special!

+1! The video already wooed me, sweet note with a handwritten and personalized section is the cherry on top!!!
 
Has anyone submitted a LOI or update letter? I uploaded it onto the portal but wasn't sure if I needed to do anything else to make sure that they can see it....
 
when I got an II they asked for updates to be uploaded to the portal a few weeks before the interview, but I’m not sure about the process for pre-II if that applies to you

@redexpomarker if you are using the Tapatalk app to post on SDN, try deleting it and re-installing it to get rid of the odd emoji barrage on your posts.
If this doesn't work try replying to posts without quoting the previous poster.
