I want to do "excellence" for Prompt #2. During college, I would commute for hours via bus to reach my clinical experiences and then go back. I also had a cGPA and sGPA of 3.9+. Would this dedication to academia+clinical experience be analogous to UCR's value of excellence?
 
Did anyone figure out how to enter the date on the courses?
 
I didn't hit submit after paying for UCR and realized 3 days after the recommended week deadline. I'm so stupid....
 
Hi ya'll, so I have been running super behind on my secondaries and only just realized that UCR's recommended deadline is one week after. I submitted this morning almost 3 weeks after receiving the secondary. Was raised in the IE + made it very clear in my secondaries I'm dedicated to staying here but does anyone know if missing the recommended deadline severely hurts your chances?

I'm sorry that happened to you- I'm super stressed too with all this writing. At the end of the day, the one-week deadline is just a recommendation, also they haven't even started sending out II just yet, so I'd say you are probably good. Last cycle I got IIs for schools whose secondaries I submitted well beyond the recommended submission time.

Yes, got that one yesterday where it says in email title "secondary app under review"

I did the asynchronous type one last year. It is an impersonal interview format similar to the Casper exam. Apparently, it is overseen by a third-party organization, so the school never sees your answers (at least, that was apparently true for CUSM). I just hate the Casper format.

Although there seems to be a live interview format, I don't know what that would entail.

But regardless! Congratulations!!

I just confirmed my interview and it does seem that it will be a live format; it seems like a MMI format from their description.
 
Those of you getting IIs: Happy for ya'll 🙂 question though. UCR for undergrad and/or living in IE/ties to IE?

I went to UCR for undergrad and grew up in SoCal! Other than that, I have no ties to IE however my application is heavily geared to serving the underserved
 
II this morning 11 AM. Checking interview dates but the calendar is like unselectable. I emailed and called and left a message. Upset that this is happening, first II and was super excited.

Anyone else going through this.

There were also no dates for me. When I checked back later today one had become available. A similar thing happened at UCI and I emailed and more became available.

Don’t be upset. It will all work out. You can email or wait. But since they have a 48hr deadline I recommend emailing and checking periodically
