I want to do "excellence" for Prompt #2. During college, I would commute for hours via bus to reach my clinical experiences and then go back. I also had a cGPA and sGPA of 3.9+. Would this dedication to academia+clinical experience be analogous to UCR's value of excellence?
Did anyone figure out how to enter the date on the courses?

Just click today then manually select the year and date from there. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to figure out how to type it in directly.
I highly doubt that this makes a difference 🙂

Hi ya'll, so I have been running super behind on my secondaries and only just realized that UCR's recommended deadline is one week after. I submitted this morning almost 3 weeks after receiving the secondary. Was raised in the IE + made it very clear in my secondaries I'm dedicated to staying here but does anyone know if missing the recommended deadline severely hurts your chances?
I'm sorry that happened to you- I'm super stressed too with all this writing. At the end of the day, the one-week deadline is just a recommendation, also they haven't even started sending out II just yet, so I'd say you are probably good. Last cycle I got IIs for schools whose secondaries I submitted well beyond the recommended submission time.

I'm not, but when I scheduled my interview, it called me an assurance candidate which I'm not as I didn't attend UCR. I'm assuming I just got a very early II

Idk what that is 😛 but im confused. I can select two interview dates, but one is labeled as the kira circuit while the other one just says "Available"
I did the asynchronous type one last year. It is an impersonal interview format similar to the Casper exam. Apparently, it is overseen by a third-party organization, so the school never sees your answers (at least, that was apparently true for CUSM). I just hate the Casper format.
Although there seems to be a live interview format, I don't know what that would entail.
But regardless! Congratulations!!

Its a Casper 2.0 style interview.
I just confirmed my interview and it does seem that it will be a live format; it seems like a MMI format from their description.

I went to UCR for undergrad and grew up in SoCal! Other than that, I have no ties to IE however my application is heavily geared to serving the underserved

Yes, such a weird email. Literally died because the wording made it seem like I had an II. Then when I read I was like oh... haha
