I’m literally an M1 at CUSM (which i indicated on my AMCAS choose your school tool) and i got that email 😂

• Are currently taking a gap year for the 2024-2025 cycle (application year 2025).
• Does not have an application currently under consideration.
• Does not have plans to apply to the SOM for the current 2024-2025 (application year 2025) cycle.

so if we are applying now, and we got that email, are we not able to participate?

There were also no dates for me. When I checked back later today one had become available. A similar thing happened at UCI and I emailed and more became available.

Don’t be upset. It will all work out. You can email or wait. But since they have a 48hr deadline I recommend emailing and checking periodically

I don't remember where I read / heard this (probably here in prior years), but UCR processes apps in specific groups sometimes. So they'll hold onto the PRIME-ABC apps, frex, until they have enough to interview, then interview them all in one go. Might do something similar with Haiders / other groups.

They Interview all people they want to interview, not really based on whether you’re Haider or not… and you will get PRIME interviews before getting accepted… it seemed that Haiders were told late last year… I was waitlisted then accepted pretty late :’)
