Were you able to see who your interviewers were prior to interviewing? I heard that their names should be in the portal but I don’t see anything yet and I’m interviewing this week :/
When I interviewed last year I was only able to see my interviewers’ names the morning of the interview, it does update in the portal

Is that what they said in the zoom meeting?
I've heard different things from friends who have interviewed, in my zoom meeting Sarah said we would hear back "within the next few weeks." Which is the same information from the post II email. Historically, the first day that calls have gone out have been the Friday after the first interview week.

Non cusp/trust ppl are supposed to interview soon… I keep refreshing my email :,(

I have a question ... how do we send thank-you emails if the names / contacts of the interviewers aren't shown in the portal ..?

UW doesn't accept thank you letters or updates of any kind, with the exception of updated unofficial transcripts if you are a traditional applicant.

I'm not sure if it's different for Spokane applicants, but in my interview email they mentioned you will be able to schedule 3-4 weeks prior to your interview day. The first week of Spokane interviews are the week of November 13th, so expect the email to schedule either this week or next week! Similarly there will be scheduling emails sent out for 3-4 weeks prior to the other interview weeks (weeks of December 2nd, and January 21).

does anyone know the timeline for hearing back from interviews? looking at last year's thread is confusing me!!
Unfortunately nobody knows for sure except the admissions committee. It depends on when their EXCOM meeting is scheduled. Last year it was the week after the first week of interviews but perhaps this year it is later. We have to remember that many of the members on the EXCOM are practicing physicians so the logistics of the meetings may vary from year to year.

Seattle cohort continued consideration just now - IS interviewed 10/15

+1 IS Seattle continued, interviewed 10/17. "Many applicants are accepted out of this pool every year." is somewhat reassuring though

Yes! Also, about 40-45 applicants get accepted off the waitlist each year for the Seattle campus.

It is, and they seemed to push the point pre-interview (as I'm sure they did with everyone) that being put under continued consideration was a positive thing. Still, the waiting game is a very fun one

continued consideration as well...does anyone have any impression what % of people get outright accepted, rejected, or put on continuing review? or what percent of people get taken out of this pool? trying to figure out how to frame this to my parents lol
I'd also love to know!

+1 CC. I’m not worrying. My understanding is that a lot of ppl get accepted from this pool and a lot of people wind up on the waitlist. Based on last years thread they seem to have really good waitlist turnover.

IS, complete 7/25 and haven’t heard anything since. Is that most likely a pre-II R at this point?

Nice, looks like it went to 47 last year. Do you know if a good chunk of people actually get accepted from this pool throughout the cycle, or is it more like one big surprise at the end of January?

Same boat. Looking at previous years’ threads it looks like this is mostly likely the case. Can never know for sure until we get the R tho.
