I also got this and upset because I thought my interview went so well. It seems according to the email we will either be accepted or put on the priority WL. We won't be rejected outright. I just wish there was more information on when we would hear moving forward since the decision is deferred :/ last years thread didn't provide much clarity

Nope. Interviewed 9/19 and havent heard anything. If I dont hear anything by 5, I'm putting on my cookie monster costume and assuming I have another month of waiting.

Yeah I am just wondering like how likely it is to simply get accepted without joining the waitlist. Does that then mean we would potentially be accepted before those already on the waitlist right now? And is our app re-reviewed with each new admission date (nov, dec…) or after waitlist movement in april/may? If any current students or anyone else has any insight this anxious girl trying to enjoy the holidays would appreciate it so much :,)
Im also an anxious girlie so I felt this. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this too and wondering the same things. I tried to look at past threads but didn’t get much info :/. It can’t be that everyone on DD gets put on high priority WL right? I feel like we would just be put on that to begin with 🙁. Really hoping we can get A. I hope we don’t have to wait till April/may it’s so far away

I definitely was. It’s completely normal to be nervous, and I think they understand that!
It's okay to be nervous; student interviewers are familiar with nervous applicants, and we even get some training to help you feel more comfortable haha.
