admissions committee
Thank you!!

So you all can see I, not only haven't received an invitation for interview yet, but also did not get a message from the program saying my application was sent to the admissions committee. HAHA!
I'll get there!

Have you submitted the supplemental application and all other requirements?
Feel normal, I've never received an invitation even after receiving those useless emails! And many programs told me that they send invitations after deadline, or after that specific date or whatever. But most of them already did send! Why would they lie? No idea.

Oh, yes! I sent everything. All supplemental applications, fees and documents.
This waiting exercise is far from being easy. Always hopeful!

Did you choose the right one? Because it was not updated yet and there were many options that are not for us.

I am sorry, but I did not understand what you mean.
For the supplemental application, there were many options to choose from. I remember that I chose to fill and submitted a wrong one which had fees, as they hadn't updated the options at that time. So later I submitted the right one and it didn't have fees. So make sure that you chose the right one.

Yes, thank you for that! I understand. According to all I review, fees, documents and photography was sent correctly and timely. Best to all of us!

What if I dont know anyone? 😓
Am I out of that game already?
Lmao no. I was the same way. You gotta put urself out there. I didn’t know anyone either. It’s takes time to build these connections especially genuine ones

Maryland interview is July 29. Idk if they have sent information to applicants yet. I assume soon. I know because I’m a current resident.
Thank you for the response. Cross fingers for all of us

What’s a good ADAT score for endo?
Only one program I applied to required ADAT, and they didn’t give any indication on what they consider a good score. Just in one random conversation with faculty from another school that requires it— maybe 550-600? (This was at AAE, just making conversation in the drink line lol).

OHSU, Email 07/07 for 2-Step Process Interview

Step 1: July 13 interview (virtual), 12-15 candidates
Step 2: July 27 interview (in-person), 6-7 candidates

Best of luck to everyone with upcoming interviews! 🙂

Hi,
Please anyone here applied to BU 36 month?
Or knows anything about it if BU interviews above are for 24 only or 36 as well?
Thank you!

Hello all. I have a question to those who were called for an interview:

Did you all receive an email confirmation from the program saying they received your application? Not receiving this message from them it means we don't have a chance of being called for an interview?

What does everyone feel about all these interviews being clustered up together ?

It is what it is. Programs are often competing for some of the same applicants. My only complaint is programs that have chosen the same day for an interview. It’s hard to choose between 2 programs and feel like you are making the right choice if you have never visited either or met the directors in person.

Like you said, it is what it is. I interviewed on July 9th when I applied. Got accepted the next day and cancelled 8 other interviews including 2 programs I would have rather gone to for various reasons. Could I have had better experiences at those other programs, probably. But would have even gotten accepted, who knows. Maybe not. Which is why I went ahead and accepted my first offer. But wherever you go, work your butt off, do as many cases as possible and read as much as you can. At that point you are basically getting the same education as every other resident (minus surgery). Some programs really preach surgery. But we all read the same stuff and do similar cases. It’s about the work you put in.

I don't think that's true (only based on my own experience). I have only received one application received/complete email.

Does anyone know if it is up to students whether they decide to participate through PASS or not for Southern Illinois?
If so, does it make a difference when it comes to making the application look good overall?

Any updates from Minnesota interviews ?
