Day 6

"Have you botany plants lately?"

She truly didn't understand where all the suspicion was coming from. The accusations came, fast and plenty, and all she could think to say was "I beg your garden?!" Their response of "thistle be the best day ever" did nothing to assure her. Some felt more like commen-taters than actual game solvers. Some just wanted to write top notch puns and otherwise be unhelpful.

He was outstanding in his field.

An expert in the ways of the floret! But they argued that cauliflower was just broccoli that's seen a ghost.

Maru had been working hard on her latest science projects. She'd developed the ability to do a number of things that she was sure would benefit the town. Locking someone in for the night so they couldn't leave their farm, locking them into their house so they could do nothing... and of course, finding a way to keep them safe from those who might wish them ill.

She'd used all of these abilities, trying to keep her townspeople safe. Or so she claimed. The dubious looks amongst the group gave away that they didn't believe her, despite her claims. After all, she claimed all of these things ... but she also posted pictures elsewhere of gigantic cauliflowers, several stories tall. And then she wasn't around because she was dealing with something called a chinchuinea pilla?? Watt inn tar nation, indeed.

They just couldn't have it. They were sure that this was the end - THIS was their salvation, and soon they would be set free of this mortal coil, free to farm to their hearts' contents, not having to worry about the responsibilities of killing those who want to kill you..

They wasted no time, other than the majority of the time where 2/3 of them didn't vote. Maru had to go. She was dangerous. She was SUS. She was ... cruciferous.

They shoved her onto the train and slammed the door, hoping against all hope that this was the end, that the store had all been a ruse, and that the previous notice they'd received was just to drag out the inevitable.

Perhaps it was.
Or perhaps the nightmare continued.
