I interviewed last week and have not heard anything back yet
It took about a week for my adea/ midwest portal to update. If your midwestern portal shows missing prereqs you were waitlisted but if it shows an accepted checklist you were accepted. Otherwise they probably have not made a decision yet

People with missing prerequisites get waitlisted?

So do you mean it showed "waitlisted" on the original ADEA portal where you originally submitted? Mine says "none" and I interviewed last week
Yes, my ADEA portal changed from none to waitlisted about a week later. The same day my midwestern portal updated to show missing prereqs on the applicant checklist that were not there before I interviewed.

Does anyone know the itinerary for the interview day and did the interview day actually end at 4 or was it earlier? Trying to see if I can leave the day I arrive. Thank you in advance!

It depends on when you interview. They preset a schedule that they will hand out the day of. I was one of the unlucky ones that interviewed later in the day but you will for sure be done by 4:30.

My interview was on 3/19 and it is now 3/28, when would be an appropriate time to call admissions to check the status of my application? Should I just keep waiting it out?

You can definitely call they are really nice in admissions as long as you just call once I’m sure it would be fine.

so if my applicant portal shows an accepted pre-req checklist (that was not there until just yesterday) that means I was accepted and I just haven't received a call yet?

does it show missing pre-reqs? or do you have them all?

If its under the accepted checklist (under the post-accepted tab) then yes you are probably accepted but if it is under the applicat checklist (under the pre-accepted tab) then you are probably waitlisted.

Did your ADEA change from "none to waitlisted" around the same time your MWU portal showed "missing pre reqs?"

My missing prerec checklist popped up first But it happened in the same day. (Although it was a business day). Just because they are all checked doesn’t mean one way or another.

When I had it, it was just 2 faculty! I've heard that there supposedly should have been an additional student interviewer, but neither of the 2 interview groups had one on my day.
Sorry if I misunderstood, but you had groups? So you had group interviews? Was it traditional or MMI? Closed or open file?

Sorry, I worded that weird. It is not group interviews. There will be like ~12 other interviewees there with you so they split you guys into two groups and each person has an interview timeslot with the panel of 2 faculty. Not sure if open or closed; the questions don't have to do with your application so I assume closed.

Yeah, it’s closed. They won’t be like “hey, why did you get this grade in O-chem” lol

Did anyone else have to reverify their contact information on the Midwestern Portal?

Damn, sorry to hear. I didn't know they send out rejections after interviews in April. I'm guessing they notified you by email?
no its okay. i felt after the interview that i didn't do well so i was expecting it. also a week prior to my interview i was accepted to one of my top choices, i guess you can say i didn't really prepare for the interview. They notified me by mail and they updated aadsas portal.

Congrats! Where’s your top choice?

Hi, did anyone get accepted off the waitlist and how recent? Also, does anyone know how much of the class is already filled? Thank you in advance!

The facebook group page for class of 2023 has 112 members in it. add a small number from the upcoming interviews that have yet to be accepted, and a handful of people that probably haven't joined the group yet, i'm guessing there aren't too many spots left in their roster of 130 students.

Consider that there are about ~100+ people on the waitlist, i think the window is getting smaller for those of us waitlisted.

What group are you referring to because I only see 75 for the fb MWU-IL page?

Hey can anyone give me some advice as to how their interviews went and what to expect? Mine is this Wednesday. Thank you!

Got acceptance call around 12pm today. Interviewed yesterday 4/17
