I also received the interview invite today for 11/15! God is soooo good and sooooo faithful!!! This is my first invite! It's go time baby! God bless!

I was invited in January, it went well but there were just more qualified applicants than me. Last year they told me about 150 were interviewed for the 24 spots. Good luck to you all!

how often do they send out those batches-of-10 secondary emails?

I don't know about secondaries but I someone earlier said last year they were told that they interview about 150 people. I don't know how many they accept either. Sorry I wasn't of much help. Congrats on the secondary! Get it in as quick as you can. I believe the 11/15 interview group is the first one so you are still in good shape. God bless!

I am very thankful that I got an interview there. I hand delivered my secondary and when I walked inside the building, I absolutely fell in love! It was an awesome feeling being there. I can't wait for the interview. Keep praying and believing! God bless!

It sure can't! I love Drew! I get more and more excited everyday. When I drive by there or take my wife to school I think to myself, this could be my school! Kind of stalkerish! 😎

Hey everyone! I just got the secondary for Drew a couple days ago and I am very excited! I have a midterm and a paper due Monday, but I'm gonna try my best to work on the app ASAP. Yea I put everything in bullet form. I think they prefer for people to be specific and it's probably best accomplished through bulleting and numbering. It is definitely easier in paragraph form but I think it is best to do what they ask. I dunno just my opinion.

Hey CheemMD and Asakkings, how have you guys been prepping for the interview? Or have you guys started? Not trying to pry or steal anything from you guys at all either, just to put that out there.

I have been reading everything on Drew's website and I have been also looking at UCLA's website and getting a feel for the curriculum.

Well, all I can say is, Drew is not religiously affiliated to my knowledge. I myself happen to be religious, but that has nothing to do with my applying to Drew. It does seem a lot of us on this thread are religious too, but you shouldn't feel awkward at all! Obviously you share our common goal to serve the underserved, so welcome!! 🙂

Like all other CA public Med Schools, the program is secular. No need to worry if you are not religious.

Last Year: Interview, rejected because extra-curricular activities in underserved communities just weren't enough.

This Year: Received 2 A's and an A+ in upper division biology courses, volunteered over 10 hours a week at the Venice Free Clinic for the whole year (and I still do currently), volunteer for homeless shelters, and created an organization to help disadvantaged students in school.

Outcome: No secondary at all! Rejected last week.
I'm speechless.......

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum. I received my Drew secondary 10/02 and I'm totally psyched I got an interview invite from them yesterday! Thank you Lord! I want to stay in Cali so bad, as I'm sure many people want to. Anyone else with the 11/22 group? To the question about bullet form or prose, I did mine bullet form.

I feel the same exact way about Drew. It is also my #1! What I have heard is that they will give us a prompt of some sort and we have to work together to come up with a solution/answer. That is what I interpreted it as. Any other input would be great.

I live right down the street from CDU. Like 3 blocks away on the same street. I was just in Sac before I moved back home. I went to Sac St. for undergrad.

I went their to play football. I loved it, I had a great time. Just happy to be back home. I was up there for 7 years because I also did my postbacc at UC Davis.

I understand what you mean. That 600 character thing was tough. But do everything you can to stay within that limit. They mean 600 characters including spaces. God bless ya!
