so has anyone waiting for a post-interview decision called to see when we might know? maybe ill be brave and do it if no one else has...
 
the suspense is killing me...has anyone heard anything?
 
i called and patrick said they're working on updating us now...hopefully that means we'll know today!🙂

Patrick is 0/2 on his statements, so I really hope so.

On my interview, he said before 10/1, we'll know

Aside from the persistent misinformation, I don't understand why we aren't told. A decision has been made for the past few weeks already.
 
I am trying to find stats from UVM regarding their residency match statistics. I have only been able to find the list of where students have matched.

Does anyone know where I can find what percentage of students match and what percentage match one of their top 3 choices?

I don't, but can you post a link to the list you found of where they match? I've been trying to find this.
 
Still in the damn 6-8 week preliminary review holding pattern.....😡 Approaching 7 weeks....
 
everyone check the online applicant center!!! decisions are up!! got the Out-of-Area waitlist of qualified/alternate candidates. Woohooo! Hopefully I end up with an acceptance here :xf:

waitlist for me too. i feel like being on the alternate here is better than many other schools and gives us a really good chance to be accepted, so hopefully that's the case!🙂

yup, our student guides were saying it's pretty common, and hopefully in a couple days you get accepted

Got me excited there for a second, I checked and it didn't say anything about the decision.

For those that heard back, when did you guys interview?
 
Agh! Waitlist! I was really hoping to have peace of mind today, but no such luck. Why do I get the feeling that they waitlist like 90% of their applicants?

I finished my secondary for UVM back in July and am still stuck in the "6-8 weeks for review." I just don't get it. My scores were above their avg. (36R, 3.7 undergrad, 3.85 grad) and I have tons of experience (6 years pharm tech, 2 years Medical technologist, continuous research since my sophomore year of undergrad). Can't figure out what might be going on. Should I start to worry? I've only been invited for interview from 1/7 schools I applied to so far...

No, don't worry. You have great numbers and it's still early. UVM interviews pretty late compared to everyone else, I believe April. Have you been out of school for a while? I have heard UVM likes students who have some life experience after school (I'm guessing you're work experience was after college?).

Anybody interviewed in mid-september that hasn't heard anything? Or gotten a rejection?
 
WL too! They made it long and substantive, you would think it was an acceptance.

You have great stats! I'm just curious though, why did you only apply to 7 schools?
 
You think now is too late to get a student host for next Tuesday interview? I basically just finally decided on going. I haven't contacted anyone yet, I'm just asking for anyone with some experience with the hosts.

I contacted OSU within a week of my interview and they found someone for me, so it wouldn't hurt to try.

I got one two days before my interview
 
Just received an interview invite for early December! I thought hearing from them would take a long time - phew!

I submitted my secondary in late July, and wasn't complete until early September. Small pooled about a week ago.

Here's hoping I don't get caught in a snow storm on my way!

probably not, but you should do it anyway cuz it will be one less person that i will be competing with for a spot :meanie:

I submitted the same time, complete late September, but not yet small pooled.
