Your knowledge of Case eggplant lore is the only thing that has saved you from being boycotted by the entire Case medical school for not knowing what pho is. As the person above me said, it's a Vietnamese soup with noodles, meat, and some kind of leafy green stuff that I have no idea what it is.
Superior Pho is the restaurant where we all like to go. If anyone who is visiting Cleveland wants to try pho or other Vietnamese food, check it out.
No one has asked about this so far, but since we're talking about food, here are some other ethnic restaurants that I liked to go to when I lived in Cleveland:
Indian:
Udupi cafe (south Indian veg, nice and spicy)
Korean:
Seoul Hot Pot (try the bibimbap)
Japanese:
Pacific East (in Coventry, which is a fun place to visit anyway. I have to warn you that this place is a little pricy, but if you don't mind splurging a bit, it's worth the money.)
Ethiopian:
Empress Tayitu (surprisingly good, worth trying if you've never had Ethiopian)
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but probably current students can add to this list.
