That's what they told me also, but my status has changed back to the "Your file is now complete" status today.
 
I emailed to ask if they could elaborate on the hold for re-review status, and they just quoted my status as their reply. This tells me that they've put your application to the side and moved on. I think I'll do the same 🙁

do u guys think i can possibly go back on hold? this whole thing seems to be really messed up
 
Hey Guys,

A little confused about two things:

1. I have the secondary but not verified by AMCAS yet, can I submit since I've completed the secondary?

2. How do we get to the payment site to get the payment code?

1. I wouldn't.

2. Read the instructions on the instruction page.

Edit: Just checked. My status is now:

Your file is now complete. At this point we have received all the necessary credentials including your secondary application and your letters of recommendation in order for your application to be reviewed. While the committee does its best to review applications in a timely manner, please be aware that in order to do a thorough review of your file it may be several weeks until you hear from us again. We greatly appreciate your patience during the application process.

Last night it said "on hold for re-review"
 
i wouldn't bother compulsively checking your status, if you get an interview you'll see the email probably before they even change your status on there.

When there is an interview, will it show the dates on the status? Some people mentioned that you may get an email first.
 
ok so I went from being on hold to this

"Your file is now complete. I heard if you get an interview, your status changes to "you will be receiving an email shortly about your application" or something like that. Then you will get the interview email.

the email will come long before the status change on that site. and GW picks the date for you, it's not where you get to choose from a selection of them
 
Damn. I thought I was the only one off the on-hold status. Damn you SDN!
 
I submitted mine on the 5th and mine still just says:

"Your application is complete and under review by the committee. Correspondence concerning the status of your application will be emailed to you shortly."

This is the first time I've checked it though - so who knows what has happened in the last couple days. Oh well - haha - you all seem to keep me updated well enough.

That, sir/madam, will likely be an interview invite.

What are your stats? State of residence?
 
8. What is your specific interest in the MD Program at GW? What opportunities would you take advantage of as a student here? Why? (2000 characters)

thoughts?.. um do research on the school and find that things that are interesting to you.

Hummm - I thought that's what mine has said all along. Maybe, maybe not. I've been doing about 100 other work related things so I haven't checked before today.

I'm certainly no "epic all-star" in terms of stats compared to some other people on here....31 MCAT, etc....I'm a Virginia resident but not for school. I've got a few pretty cool things outside of my numbers though.

I'll keep you all updated, I guess?

GPA? that's the only thing I wanted to know lol, if you're going to give a range please at least make it like 3.7-3.8 or something that isn't 1.0 - 3.9

Lol, my switched to re-review from file under review today! Submitted on Monday.
 
When you guys with interview invites submit? Looks like they are starting to review us.

i think they didn't get the interview invites yet, just a status change indicating that correspondence will be sent. could be that it is interview invites

Well in the past that status update led to an interview if I recall correctly from last years thread.

You wouldn't happen to know what the status update for a rejection was, would you? Do they just change your status to "sorry, you are kicked off the island"?

I think that they soft rejected with the your on hold for re review status and interviews were the we will get in contact for email. Only very few people with the re review statuses got Interviews.

this thread is making me paranoid because I got the "re-review status" today. really love this school and hope I get to interview.

i had the re-review status but now it says my application is being reviewed again....does this mean i've alrdy been rejected? 🙁

Lol I don't know guys. Everything I say is a guess as good as any one else's. I just am a dork and read last years thread. Pretty interesting to check out.

Dont worry about it. I was "on hold" for about a week and now I have a status of "your app is complete and a decision will be made...." I wouldn't look too far into any of these messages.

Sorry. I didn't know the MDapps server was down. 3.67.

So yes. 1.0-3.9!
