Did everyone get a "We are pleased to inform you your application is complete and under review." e-mail when you submitted secondary? I submitted my secondary back in July and just received this email after sending a LOI. Does this mean I hadnt been reviewed until just now? any input would be appreciated!
 
anyone interviewing on 1/30?

is it just going to be two 30 minute interviews?

There are also several talks in the morning by various people, before you have your student interview. Then you get the best interview lunch ever, followed by a tour and your faculty interview.
 
Do we have to pay the deposit to hold our spot in the class (and this deposit is non-binding, correct?)?
 
I got the accept on 12/19 for the PSAP program! (Interviewed 12/12).
Anyone else here going for the PSAP program?

Also, I guess after an accept, you get access to JeffMail (my account is activated and functioning - very cool) and BannerWeb which includes a lot of cool things that current students can use (discussion boards, organizations, directory, etc).

Just some FYI that I found while obsessing... Best of luck to everyone and I hope to see some of you next fall!

hey guys - was accepted 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten the card in the mail yet - is this typical? should I wait it out more or just give them a call? I don't want to accidentally lose my seat!

Does Jefferson give out pre-interview rejections? i have been sitting at "Decision Pending" for almost 3 months now :/

Last year I applied to Jefferson and didn't receive a rejection till March/April so I think they avoid rejecting people to the last possible second. I could have been the exception though but that was my experience.

I have been completed for 3 months as well and didn't hear back anything -___-. THere are 3 possibilities: 1) they are slow or 2) we have been silent rejected or 3) class is full (unlikely)

Oh, and they do send pre-interview rejections to some people, just not everybody. I have a friend who got rejected in October...
 
For everyone accepted, has anyone gotten emails about financial aid or campus key? Just wondering as I've only gotten the card and housing information in the mail. Thanks!

No e-mails about campus key. I did get a letter about financial aid, but my situation is a bit of an exception. In any case, you can find your campus key by visiting this page. I was able to gain access to my Jeff e-mail account. Not useful now, but I was bored one afternoon... :laugh:

How long after your secondary was complete did you get the II invite?

So far, the range has been < 2 weeks to > 5 months. So responses to your question aren't likely to alleviate any anxiety you may have. Keep on keepin' on.

They're receptive to in the area emails though, so if you find yourself in Philly for some other interview let them know!
 
I think I'm at 3.5 months right now. Come on Jefferson ... show me some love
 
Do we get notified by phone on wednesday's as well? Or does it take a couple of days after they discuss you on wednesdays to get back to you? So far I've been seeing that people are getting calls at around 2, 2:15 ... Anyone have any input on this?
 
Does anyone know where we should send update letters/letters of intent?

same complete since august and still decision pending 🙁
 
We were told at the interview that there are literally just 2 people reading applications so, if I were you, I'd write a letter of interest so that maybe your application can be looked at sooner.
 
A question to those who know, if one were to send a LOI, would Dr. Callahan be a good choice to send it to?
 
Yeah, or Dr. Brooks (director of admission), as she and Dr. Callahan are the two who are reading apps. However, this is just based on that fact so if you want to be sure, you should call. Good luck!

When I did it I addressed the email to Dr. Callahan and CC'd Brooks

Pre-interview, completed in September. Found out that I was rejected by checking status
 
Status is still decision pending... been like that for 5+ months now... hmm
 
To those of you who sent an update/LOI letter, how long did it take for Jeff to confirm that they received the letter? I sent the letter this past Saturday via email and I haven't heard anything yet. I sent it to [email protected]
 
I never got a confirmation, actually. I sent one in early Nov in hopes of receiving an II while I was in the Philly area in December. So an update letter plus in the area. Nothing back 🙁

I sent one back in November and then another just a week ago and didn't get any confirmations.
 
No confirmation from email.. maybe try calling?
