I used the same admissions email address and actually got a confirmation this time (2nd LOI) but no ii- I sent the letter on the 10th and got a reply on the 14th. The reply is just an email with this attached:
Dear Applicant:

Thank you for updating your application. We will include this information
in your file.

So I just called and the woman said that we SHOULD be receiving an email confirmation so she was having someone check on my file and make sure my updates had made it.

She also said they interview until mid April so more II can possibly come out!
 
When I sent an in the area email they didn't respond back acknowledging anything, but they did send me an II for the week I requested so I'm sure they took note of your emails.
 
Is Jefferson releasing some acceptances today for the 1/9 interviewers? Do they also release wait list decisions by e-mail on the same day that they make acceptance calls? Thanks! 🙂
 
I'm still waiting for thatt!!! 12/19 interview too...

Waitlist decisions go by email on Thursdays (or at least that was the case for me and a few other weeks)
 
Greetings, future potential classmates! Anyone know if the dates for orientation/semester dates have been published online somewhere? It'd be handy to know for scheduling, like, my life.

Also: Anyone else planning on doing some serious travelling before first year starts? 😉 Because that's my plan for this entire summer.

Is it normal not to get a response back from Dr. Callahan after sending an update/interest email? I emailed her a few days ago but have not heard anything back.

Shes always replied within a few hours for me, but this is post WL.
 
So I interviewed 12/19... and haven't heard anything. Which pile do you think I'm in? =/ And there have been two Wed admission meetings since (1/9 and 1/16)

I was also wait listed. I got responses pretty quickly from my other update/interest emails, but I haven't heard anything back from my most recent one. Maybe Dr. Callahan is swamped with emails.

I also sent a LOI a couple of months ago after being WL'd and did not get a response from Dr. Callahan....I also figured she was just swamped with emails.
 
what day of the week do they send interview invites?
 
been Decision Pending for almost 7 months now gaaaaaah
 
Status changed to interview to be scheduled about a week ago! Now waiting for the email to set it up. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the email once you get that status? Thanks, really excited about interviewing here!!!

Thanks! I was complete around the end of July and sent an update letter a few weeks ago as well. It'd be boss to get an acceptance here! Can't wait for the interview!

I sent it to Dean Callahan at her jefferson email. Just checked my status and an interview is scheduled for 2/6.

Does anyone have tips for interviewing at Jefferson? What did you like about the school, what did they seem to emphasize on interview day.. why are they unique? I've done my research but any additional help from someone who's interviewed would be really appreciated!!

Totally not what you're looking for, but wait till you eat that lunch 😍 Their pamphlet pdf covers most of the things you're asking though.

If you've any specific questions about Jefferson that you can't find answers to, feel free to pm me. We're unique because we have an OTTER FOUNTAIN on campus though, just sayin'.

Interview day is just like what most schools do nowadays: a low stress chance to get a real life picture of you as an applicant and potential student.
 
Thanks! It will be two weeks ago from tomorrow. Pretty fast turn around but that's what they also told us at the interview.

Anyone else interview from then and hear silence or something?

I just got placed on the "High Priority" wait list. Does anyone know what the differences are between this and the regular wait list? Is there anyone who goes to Jeff currently who was on that wait list? Thanks! Just trying to get an idea of where I am and what I need to do. I really love this school!

I was wondering the same thing when I got placed on in the fall so I thought I'd just share some answers I've gotten:

High priority is exactly like it sounds (although I haven't seen anyone placed on the normal waitlist this year). Around 30% of current Jeff students come off the HPWL/normal waitlist so don't lose hope! Keep showing interest, and the first people should come off the list in early May.
 
I'm on the alternate. is that worse???

ie are my chances of getting in <<<<< than HP?

Sorry 🙁 I don't know if the chances are much worse (ie people still get pulled off of it in previous years), but it is worse than the high priority.
 
Any thoughts then, as to how to increase my chances or move to HP??

I was on it, as were many classmates. Advice been mentioned before, but I know things can get buried in threads. Keep them updated on new activities and interest. They tend to admit people off the waitlists who have expressed interest in being a student here. I've heard of cases where the person did nothing and still got in, but the vast majority worked for it.

Same advice as above, but the reality is that your chances are less than that of a HP person, however it is not impossible! They don't move people to the HP list though.
 
II Yesterday at 11:45pm! I was scheduled for 2/20. SO excited! I thought all interview invites were done!

Less than and not impossible... seem so generic. I'm definitely going to continue emailing Dr. Callahan and Dr. Brooks, but with those "odds" I'm not going to hold my breath...

Waaaaaayy back in September so this is a nice present for the long wait. I've got a 3.93 Sci GPA and 3.99 nonSci and 33s. I sent in an update a few weeks ago and let them know I'd be in the area in Feb, and they set me up for an interview then.
 
Did any other accepted students get an e-mail today about Jefferson's IT services and financial aid?
 
Any recent interviews? It seems as if the interview invites are given out around 11:45 every time....
 
Complete early august, interviewed early January and accepted today! WOW
