That's been my status for like two weeks plus haha. I was thinking I'd get either an II or a rejection soon after the status changed, but alas no.
 
Did anyone have issues with submitting the secondary? I'm trying to do that right now but I keep getting errors after actually going through past the initial app check screen. I made sure my essay did not exceed 4000 char so I'm not sure what's going on.
 
no idea if anyone else has done this yet, but im a first year at jefferson let me know if i can help you out

I'm also having issues submitting the secondary! My essay doesn't exceed 4000 characters, but I keep getting this error screen about "lines." I'm not sure if it's because I'm submitting the secondary later than the 2 week rule. Were you able to figure out the issue? Thanks.
 
Interview invite this morning for 10/10!! Complete around 8/3!
 
DIMER applicant here, got II for 10/10 yesterday. I submitted my secondary 8/9 but wasn't complete until 8/21. I'm borderline stats-wise but really hopeful as this is one of my top choices!

3.29 sGPA/3.49 cGPA 33O
 
Hey sb213! I called the admissions office and Rita Rossano was really helpful. They took care of it pretty quickly. I suggest you call them up 🙂
 
submitted/complete 7/11... haven't heard back. should i be worried?
 
I've had "This Web application is complete but has not yet been processed." for a while now...
 
Status has changed to Interview Offered. I was complete 7/26..excited to learn more about Jefferson!

It says interview date is Oct. 17. I'll be attending another interview that day...are they receptive to requesting a date change? Email or Phone?

yep. if you have a conflict, just call them and they'll help you find another date.
 
Just got "interview to be scheduled". 3.7, 36, OOS, complete ~7/31, Status before was "decision pending". Any idea about what the usual turnaround time is between the "interview to be scheduled" status and the actual interview invite e-mail? Thanks!

i think from last year it was different for everyone. anywhere in the ballpark of like 2 days to like 2 weeks if i remember correctly.
 
why does it say that my application/fees are not received even though I already submitted?? 🙁
 
Can anyone give an idea of how long it took for them to receive a secondary after their primary was sent in??
 
How long did it take Jeff to set an interview date for you guys?
 
I've been complete for about a month right now. Would anyone suggest calling the office to check the status of my application or wait it out more?

Same here and still decision pending. I don't see any reason to call, they just have other applicants that they rather interview first.

People have chimed in saying they remained decision pending all the way into next spring.

I have also heard that they enjoy letters of interest though, so who knows 🙂
 
An error message saying, " Previous Application Year year must be a valid year between 1900 and current year." is preventing me from submitting.I applied last year , so I entered in 2012. Maybe I should be entering in 2011 instead? Anyone else a reapplicant?

In general, is it typical to send a letter of interest before interview invites to a few schools? What would you put in in that you haven't already written in the secondary? I'm assuming that there won't be much updates since submitting the secondary.

Uhhhh. This year is 2012. If you applied last year, it would have been 2011.

2012 - 1 = 2011 😕
 
Where do i send the loi, just to the admissions office? paper or email?
 
Do we have to schedule the interview by calling or does Jeff do that?

i believe jeff does silent rejections (for the most part). so even if they know they are going to reject you from the beginning, they wait until the spring to tell you that.
 
Any thoughts on how to ... gentely nudge them into interview pile?

Nah, someone earlier in the thread got a status change that was like, "Interview not offered" or something like that. And the rejections thread has Jefferson in it.

Silent rejections suck though. It's better to just tell people. =/

I have been complete since 7/26 and feel like my app is in that very pile.. which will lead to a rejection in the spring.....thinking about sending a loi letter but don't wanna jump the gun so maybe will wait until november to do so..
 
Take a breath guys, many applicants don't hear back until many months after being complete. There are only 2 people reading the 10-11 thousand applications that JMC receives. Give them some time 😀
 
Yeah. Ive been on "decision pending" for more than a month now. If you wait for them, the II's will come (I hope)
 
Anyone know when the interview day ends? Trying to figure out the best time to get on a megabus to DC right after.
