rejected by snail mail post-secondary application, complete oct 8th I think. Postmarked december 7th

I doubt it. From last year's thread, all the small-poolers were rejected at the end of the cycle. Those that got rejected before then had not been small pooled yet. I'm sure this cycle is the same.
 
the small pool of death is slowly torturing meee.... Wish an II would come for meeee 🙁
 
My user id is inactive (was working last week) and I was complete on 9/14 and small pooled on 10/29. So I guess small poolers can be rejected before the end of the cycle?? 😕

I was wait listed at MCW last year and after talking to Jen Haluzak she said I had an "excellent application" (solid gpa/MCAT) and that my interview went really well. Only thing she thought was that I applied too late (complete early october, small pooled 12/16 and interviewed 3/23 for wait list only). She strongly suggested that I apply again, although maybe they are looking for something different this year? Who knows.

Dang sorry to hear that, hope you've had better luck at other schools.

I have to ask though, why did you apply late again?
 
Did anyone else who was small pooled find out that their ID was inactive?

Sorry about the rejection.🙁

When I was creeping on former year's threads, this actually seemed to happen fairly often. People would make it to the waitlist one year and then not even small pooled the next year.
 
I was small pooled 8/29 and can still login but I haven't received an II! Interesting
 
Ahhh sorry about that. Turns out he was using the wrong password. Again, sorry about the panic!
 
I think I might end up interviewing for a wait-list spot (if I ever get one) considering that they are still reviewing Aug/early Sept applicants 🙁

I think they're probably reviewing everyone regardless of small pool date. They don't really have a reason to be loyal to a chronological order... they want the best applicants.
 
Got the waitlist letter today. A bit disappointed, to say the least.

That sucks 🙁 at least they do get pretty far into the waitlist around May! I recall Jennifer saying that maybe 50+ offers are made off of the waitlist.

Just got an II, complete Sep 7. The email only lists one interview date, then says "call to schedule for one of the above dates"
Does this mean there is only one interview date left? Yikes!
 
Interview invite about an hour ago!

I'm OOS and was small pooled 8/28.

Email said something to the effect of, "Call to reserve your interview appointment, otherwise we can't promise to interview you." Not sure what this means exactly in terms of interview spots left but just glad I was able to reserve a spot!

Says the same for all. I had my interview on the 9th of November
 
I'm guessing this will be the last of their interview waves for this year. :lame:
 
Just declined my interview offer and withdrew my application from consideration. I hope it helps one of you get an II! MCW is a great school. Best of luck to all you applicants in the cycle.
 
Does anyone remember if they specified which bureau we should get our credit report from?
 
For those who did not sign the "no credit form" on the interview day, you have to print that form off the financial aid site and send it with your credit report. This is only for students who do not have a credit history.
 
Thanks guys. I got all 3 of my credit reports. So do we just print them out ourselves and mail them out? Or is there a way to have them directly mailed from the bureau to the admissions office? And also, do any current students mind if I can PM them about their financial aid they've been receiving? If so, please let me know or pm me. Thanks in advance everyone!

I had emailed to ask, and she said I could email it. I just converted it to a pdf and sent it off.
 
I keep putting off filling out the WI residency form for MCW. This just needs to be taken care of prior to matriculation to recieve the small discount, correct? I haven't even interviewed yet, but this just popped into my head.


Also, I'm getting pretty nervous for this interview.:scared:

I'm not sure how ~$5.5K is considered a small amount.
 
Did anyone get a reply back when they sent in their credit report? I emailed mine last week and haven't heard back about it.
 
I didn't get a confirmation and I sent in my credit report oct 17. However, I didn't ask for a confirmation. Is it work calling to make sure they received it?

I'd just send an email to [email protected] and ask for a confirmation of receipt. Maybe it was law school that did it to me, but my MO for all paperwork is CYA.
