I mean, even if we're not in yet they are supposed to re-up our SUC letter once a month, right? It's been 5 weeks, not that I'm counting or anything 😏

yep!
but i think its pretty clear. after i interviewed, my philosophical interview answers made them question every decision they have ever made. hence the long wait to make further decisions. ok, i know, that was a terrible joke.
but yah, im getting suuuuper anxious here. i didn't even get a single SUC email yet.

When and where did you interview? Anyone here who interviewed on January 16th?

I interviewed 1/28 and haven't heard anything yet. Anyone hear anything this weekend?

It has been silent for me too.

Who is going to call and post what UW says? If I remember correctly rachelkj and I have done this before, so does someone else want to take charge and call?

I was interviewed on Jan 16th too and have not heard anything yet.

Besides Alaska I don't think anyone has heard anything since 1/15.

Yeah, Alaska had decisions out by February 8th, the same week as the interview. The quickest turn around that I have ever heard of. I feel really bad for you all and all the waiting that you are doing 🙁. Hang in there!

Good luck to all the Montana WWAMI folks interviewing in Seattle today! Hopefully I will be classmates with some of you next year. Either way, so glad this week has arrived and I can find out for better or worse where I will be next year after they make decisions this weekend.

Has anyone from the Washington TRUST group heard anything? I'm biting my nails...

Are you one of the interviewee's?

Agreed.

Though, I was on UCSD's waitlist until July for last cycle. Now that was pretty awful... Let's hope we all get in this Friday (assuming they have a meeting...)

Nothing yet... Good to know I'm not the only one. Good luck! Here's to hoping we both hear back positively this week.

I'm really hoping I hear back by tomorrow night!!! Wishful thinking?

I have no idea... maybe worth inquiring even if you're in-state

Yeah. Lol, I work about 300 feet down the hall from the med school office; I should probably just walk over and ask.
😳

You should ask them that and when they are voting next! Find out if they are even going to vote in February.

Ok. I am away from work until Thursday but when I get back I can drop by and see if they'll spill the beans.

🙂

Sound all official, and tell them that you are from the "SDN Post".

What department? I'm over in surgery, but don't find myself in the med center too much nowadays.

For those wondering about the timing of excom meetings, I just got another SUC letter. This would be number 5. 🙂

Just got a SUC e-mail. Looks like I still have a 31% chance of acceptance. I guess that's not too bad. Time to pray some more!

Third SUC. I'm wondering if we'll hear anything else until they do their final meetings.

I thought by applying early I'd know where I was going by the end of the year. I was maybe a little naive. I still have one more interview in 3 weeks!

Opened up gmail and saw UWSOM, still under consideration.... had a mini heart attack.

First SUC. Gah, I'm extremely glad it wasn't a rejection, but darn is this waiting tough!

I thought it was closer to about 50%. Thats what they said in the first SUC anyway.

For some reason, people got different %s. I got 31, my friend for 44, and another got 34. Foreshadowing, perhaps

Maybe it gets lower for each SUC as the spots fill up.

6th SUC here... i've pretty much given up hope at this point 🙁

Wow, so many SUCs. I got one too. I am definitely losing hope.

Lame

One more vote left and then the waitlist.

My first SUC said 31% of the SUC applicants got in last year. I have hear that previous years had a higher statistic. If you are getting different statistics this year, maybe it's in-state vs WAAMI vs OOR?

Living in Portland and applying to UW is frustrating. I want dual citizenship!

Don't you automatically have a 30% chance of getting accepted the moment you are offered an interview? The "SUC=50% chance of being accepted" didn't sound too bad to me. lol

No need to give up just yet. Aren't the vast majority of people who are eventually accepted initially SUC'd? I also heard most people who are accepted are accepted at the last minute. Don't lose hope. I'm sure you'll get in!

Just be happy you are not getting 6 SUCs like one of the above posters! I'm only at 3...
