I was complete sometime around late September/early October and unexpectedly got an II last week. OOS, with an underdog GPA. Unfortunately the earliest II dates they had available were in March though.

Rejected pre-II just now. Complete late July; OOS.

Rejection email came with a paragraph encouraging me to "re-apply" for medical school. TCMC, please don't just assume that just cause you, out of all schools, rejected me means that I won't be able to get into a medical school.

Pre interview rejection. I was complete in late September.

They're definitely still interviewing, not sure when the season ends though. When I picked my date, they had dates up to early late Feb./early March
 
Complete since early October and still no news. Is this good or bad?
 
Has anyone heard back from TCMC after early November interviews? I had a Nov 4th interview, I was deferred on Dec 2nd, and haven't heard back since. I have a huge deposit coming up for a different school and I'd defi pick TCMC over that school 🙁
 
Interviewed 12/2. Just got deferred today. So annoying. Does anyone know the chances of being admitted after being deferred until the next meeting? Also how often does the committee meet? Once a month?

if you look a couple pages back in this thread, a wave of people got deferred for a month and then were eventually accepted.
 
Anybody know when the adcom meets? once a month, twice? Thanks!
 
Have they been actively issuing out acceptances lately?? I'm so anxious waiting to hear back from all the way in November. Are post interview rejections solely through snail mail?

Thanks ... appreciate it... interviewed in December, guess I won't hear until February. I was hoping I would hear before other deposits are due, the well is starting to dry up! ... oh well.

I interviewed early October and didn't hear about my acceptance until a week before Christmas so just gotta be patient.

That is what I figured... a definite 8 week or longer wait. I will leave my other deposits though... just in case. Listen, we came this far and spent big $, what is a little more!

Arrive a day or two earlier to visit the town. Go to some of the local sites. This school is very much a part of their community- share in it, and then with your interviewers.

Does anyone know when TCMC's Second Look will be held?
 
Snail mail rejection post-interview... I'm good though.. it was a little far from home for me and I have an acceptance (TG!)! GOOD LUCK to those of you in the running... as we know... there is no rhyme or reason to this process!
 
oh no! I interviewed 12/7 and nothing 🙁 can't be good. How do they let you know if you deferred?
 
Been on complete status since October give me an II TCMC! Puhleaseee!

Yes - you get 5 months of electives. Applying for/scheduling electives is a separate process through various channels such as AAMC's VSAS or independent arrangement with a school/hospital. My understanding is that TCMC will support you in wherever you choose to go to the best of their abilities.
 
Has anyone used a cab service before or after an interview? I need recommendations since my ride flaked on me and i'll need a ride to the bus (uggh) station. 🙁 It's not a long distance but I won't be familiar with the area.
 
For those of you who have been accepted and paid the deposit, have you received any paperwork? I received an e-mail in December saying that I'll receive paperwork 'in the coming weeks' about pre-matriculation documentation, orientation, etc. So far, I've only received a prompt to complete a criminal background check.

Not yet. I think that paperwork will come much later, like maybe March.

Also, I would recommend filling out FAFSA ASAP since they do it by order
