Im guessing its over now since its way past business hours... I wish they would just let us know!! This is so stressful.

She said the same thing when she called me and it's probably busy right before the holidays so hopefully more calls will be going out. I got the call early afternoon but I'm 100% positive it's not in alphabetic order (as for reverse alphabetical...) but most likely random

Well, @soccerkd said last week that Dean Franco was planning on making the rest of the acceptance calls before Christmas. And everyone was told at their interviews that we would hear before the holidays. So I'm not giving up hope!!
 
I'm waiting for UT decisions, so that doesn't apply to me.
Plus, I only interviewed a few weeks ago, so I'm just being impatient and neurotic.
Don't mind me. :bag:

Best of luck to you guys in the CCLCM stratosphere hearing back this week. What an amazing program!

Ooohh ok! Can't help you there! You probably just missed the cutoff for the last decisions that came out from UT 🙁 best of luck though!!! Case is a great school.

And thank you!! I'm going a little bit crazy over here... But I should probably stop refreshing SDN and focus on the holidays, haha!

I absolutely would have, but @hellanutella texted me about it before I looked at my email. Thank goodness! She suffered the full heart attack sensation, though 🙁

Nope. Didn't get it. Checked spam too. Maybe I already took the survey? Is it mandatory?
 
The email says that it was sent to everyone who interviewed, regardless of whether or not you had taken it already because the survey is anonymous. I took the survey in November as well.

Weird.
 
After the interview here, this became my favorite program. Do you think they have finished with the December calls?

I feel the same way. I'm not sure.... Only two SDN members have reported getting calls, and both said that Dean Franco was only starting to make calls at that time. I bet more will go out, maybe between Christmas and New Year's.

They did say say we would find out our fate (yes/no/waitlist) by the holidays so I'm assuming if we haven't heard anything there's still a chance! I'm sitting on the edge of my seat here I feel like I've been staring at my phone for a week straight.

Yeah! I'm guessing it's changed from "by the holidays" to "by the end of the year" unless status updates are going out tonight... But I'm definitely keeping hope alive! I also feel like I've been boring holes into my phone with my constant staring....

To be fair, they didn't specify which holidays!
 
Question: If one was still placed in the hold for future consideration and review for CCLCM, is there any chance at all? Or at this stage, they are pretty much booked up for interviews?

Do they tend to hold onto many applications in this way as opposed to just outside rejecting people pre-interview?

I'm not sure how many interview invites are left, but I was placed on pre-interview hold at CCLCM in late August and then offered an interview at both tracks in mid October. So it's certainly possible to come off pre-interview hold! Best of luck 🙂

Let's hope for the best. I would be very grateful for a chance at CCLCM. I was rejected outright from UT so retained some hope from CCLCM.

How much advance notice did you receive for the interview? 2 weeks? .....

Let's see... I had about a month in between my invite and when I headed to Cleveland. The earliest date for CCLCM was two weeks after my invite, but I didn't take it since I was trying to coordinate UT and CT.

If it makes you feel better, I was rejected from UT mid September, but received a CT interview invite mid October for a sot in mid November. I believe there are still interview slots open, so there is still hope!
 
Does anybody know what the current requirement is for Biochemistry for UT? I know it is necessary for CCLCM and was under the impression that it was for UT as well. I more recently read conflicting information saying it is only for CCLCM and my student interviewer told me it was not a requirement, as many of her classmates had not taken it. Thanks.

Was under the impression it was not required for UT.
