There havent been a whole lot of IIs it seems. Not sure when they will be sending out a big wave of IIs?

If I say "No" to my interest in the double degrees right now, will I have a chance to enroll in any of the dual degree programs if I end up as a student at TUSM? Or if I even have the faintest possible interest, should I just say "Yes" ?

I was told you can apply for the programs after you gain acceptance regardless if you put 'No' or 'Yes'

I rec'd an email titled "Temple University School of Medicine" from an email named "medinterview" then .... "After reviewing your application, the Admissions Committee is pleased to invite you for an interview"

Is anyone interviewing at St. Luke's? Any current MS students know how it is like over there in St. Luke's? I am very excited about my II there.
 
Does anybody know if the interviews are "closed file" or "open file"?
 
II. Complete end of August. I see a list of student hosts but how do we request them?
 
Had an interview this week...My faculty interviewer was fantastic, super laid back, genuinely interested in getting to know who I was as a person. Student interviewer was likewise very interested in getting a picture of who I was, a bit more "interview-like" since it's closed file. Had a wonderful visit overall!

+1! I wonder if we are supposed to directly email them since they've provided their contact information? However, I'd check with admissions before doing that in case they have their own way of assigning us.
 
Those who had their interviews or current students please provide hotel recommendation. Please also provide advice on transportation to and from the airport.

Can someone who applied to one of the clinical campuses outside philly as their top choice comment on whether the interview is different? Will we be interviewed by students/faculty specific to that site?

Also if anyone interviewing on October 1 is interested in splitting a hotel room to save $$$ PM me please!

Hey, I lived in Philly for about a year. If you don't have a huge time crunch, you can take a train that runs between the airport terminals and center city (there are multiple stops in center city). I think it was around $7 one-way. Just make sure to clarify that the train is going to center city before boarding.

Email them!! I emailed somebody and their replied quickly!! 🙂 one of them is hosting me for my interview day that is fast approaching....!! AHHHHH so nervous and excited!

Where do you see the list of students for student hosts?!? I don't see one on my interview tab

That happened to me. I logged back in and refreshed a few times and it finally worked. You can try switching to another browser as well.
 
Ah! still not working... tried safari and chrome. Will give firefox a go. Hopefully this works!!!
What browser did you use?

Try going to the "Home" tab, and it should have links to travel/interview info and below that will be a student hosting link

Still unfortunately cannot see any dates, calendar showing up blank. Am I missing something here? Have tried every browser!!

The calendar is blank? Oh i thought you meant the entire page wasn't loading-- that is what happened with me. Well the first dates weren't until the end of october/november so the calendar should be blank for september. Did you try going over to the next month?
 
Congrats to all the new interview invites! You will love it.

And if you were complete in late July or early August and just hearing now, I told you! To reiterate, I was complete in late July and got my II on October 1st.

What if we were complete later on like late August? Is it normal to wait a couple months before hearing back? Thanks for the input!

The guy who was supposed to interview me for the RAR interview never showed up lol...

I would think so, especially if it takes them more than 2 months to get to people that were complete ASAP. Temple is near the top regarding how many applications they get.

Yep! Looked through the entire calendar. Just completely blank! Guess I will try to call tomorrow! thank you for all your help!
