Hi bear2roo, no problem!
So I interviewed day 2 (I was applying MD & MDMPH). You don't know when you're interviewing until you get there. The person you interview with is one of the three people who chose to bring you to the interview day…so this person is already incredibly sold on you. We were told by the Dean this fact and also that few people who interview at Miami are out right rejected; they just put you on a "point" scale after you interview and the first 20 people on that point scale are accepted each time they send out acceptances.
Ummm the days are INCREDIBLY non stressful, I thought at least, for everyone involved. No one's watching you in order to "rate you" or "reject you." You're just there to figure out whether or not this is the right fit for you. Bring shoes you can walk in too. They give you a light breakfast and you're out by 12 or 1 the first day I believe. The second day isn't too long either.
Also, the interview was also pretty non stressful and relatively short (like 30-40 minutes); your interviewer is probably pretty interested in you and learning more about you and how well of a fit you are at Miami. And Miami is probably a great fit for many people interested in medicine, so I wouldn't worry about that. You're also told a lot about the school before you interview.
If I could re-do my day, I would probably try to enjoy myself more and also try to figure out if I wanted to do MD only or MDMPH. Coming out of the interview, I'm really not that sure and I wish I could have had more exposure to fourth year MDMPH students. For those people who haven't applied MDMPH, I would definitely try to learn more about the program while I was there at UMiami as their four year program seems pretty exceptionally amazing.
