I remember the days of WILD lol...
You're a Wash U alum too? I didn't know that.

EDIT: Icona Pop is coming to this fall semester's WILD because more people voted for them than for Ludacris lololol.

Yessir, I am indeed a WU alum from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. I want to say one of my last WILDs was Lupe Fiasco?

Wow I was not even a freshman when you were a senior. My first WILD was Major Lazer and Wale in fall 2010.

So nobody else got accepted yet?

I got a call from Columbia, MO. Turns out it was a robo-caller selling security systems. Or at least I hope it was and wasn't some sort of elaborate trick to see how well I handle sudden, adverse, and unpleasant situations where the fate of my application rested on my instinctive response... :nailbiting:

Yep, it's nearing end of October and thus nervous time.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. That blows. What a letdown!

.If we get accepted the notification is usually emailed to us, correct? Has anybody gotten an email?

They said they're only accepting a handful at a time I thought. She said like 3-5 this month I remember it was a really low number.

Congrats! OOC, when were you complete?

II as well! First invite and first choice for me. Lizzy M 69, in-state.

I was complete yesterday... So I don't know if they sent out a big batch today or what. Anyway, as noted above, scheduling is based on the complete date not the invite date. Good luck all.

Congrats on the recent II's! This means they must be ready to release decisions (acceptance, rejection, wait-list, or deferral) soon for everyone who interviewed this month.

It's interesting. I would think they sent you an II without full app review (which I'm assuming since you were complete just the day before) due to your stats meeting the criteria for IS students to get an II (meaning 3.5+28MCAT), but other IS applicants who met that criteria did not receive an II as seen earlier in this thread.

I really feel like they don't adhere to this policy anymore. Especially since reading this thread.

Does anyone know what weight MU places on MCAT, especially for OOS students? I am OOS and received an II, however my MCAT is not the greatest.

I have heard from pretty reliable sources that this policy isn't used anymore... It's probably a decent guideline but I've seen some pretty good applicants get rejected pre-interview this year.

They scale your MCAT score to be out of 5 points and add that number to 4 other scaled categories (from your GPA, strength of letters of recommendation, and others factors), which amount to a total of 25 points. Then you are ranked based on the amount of points you have.

That's essentially the short version of what occurs. They explain it at the interview more (and I asked my interviewer for more details as well because I was curious). Hope this helps

And it goes out to 4 decimal points apparently lol

Just sent off my deposit! I can't wait to see who all will be in my class! MU here I come!! 🙂

Currently sitting here at overnight ED shift on edge...will today (Oct 31) be the day we find out anything? Acceptance? Rejection? Waitlist? Deferral? I really hope I didn't lose out by .0001 points...

Accepted today!!!! Really floored - last time I applied I didn't even make the wait list.

+2. Do they even send rejections at this point?

No - at my interview day, they said they don't send rejections until the end of the cycle. I can attest to this from previous experience too. Found out about my rejection late March during my first cycle.

II on 10/28. IS with 31/3.7 and strong upward trend. Finally completed the week before.

Anyone know what the interview dates are up to? I have the invite but not the formal scheduling email.. Know its all the way to spring though 🙁

So just curious - was there ever a definitive answer whether they do accept updates?

I interviewed at Mizzou last week and they allowed me to send updates up until that point. Hope that helps and good luck.

Interviewing here in January!! Anyone have any interview tips? I have already checked out the interview feedback forum.

When were you complete? I received an II two weeks ago but I am waiting to be scheduled. OOS so I'm eager to buy my plane ticket.

Same, they sent me an email 2 weeks telling me to be patient while they send another with my date... still waiting.

I am also OOS, it sounds like we recieved the same email. I heard back about 3 weeks later... you will hear very soon. They have been prompt with communication. And I was complete early August, how about you?

I was complete early Oct, so that makes sense. Most likely looking at February dates then. Cool, very excited about checking this place out!

Just got the interview scheduling email for mid January.
