Anyone else receive this email today? I thought my file was already complete but I guess not! Now it is!

Dear Applicant:

All materials needed for your application have been received and your file is now complete.

Your application will be reviewed throughout the year and if granted an interview, we will send you an invitation by email. Interview is by invitation from September through March. If you have not heard by April, you will receive notification of your status at that time.

Has anyone received this before? If not it's awesome to be in the first or one of the first groups of applicants. And to be told when interview invites will start. (September)
 
When did you guys receiving complete emails submit the secondary?

Interview invites have already started going out, actually.
 
Just got the "complete" email today as well!

I submitted my secondary 7/24
 
Anyone else still waiting on the secondary? I added Wake to my AMCAS 7/24, was verified 7/29, but never received any emails from Wake Forest.
 
So has it been established whether or not Wake screens for its secondary?
 
II!! Interviews start September 2 by the way. I submitted on 7/20 and was complete a few days later.

how do you log into their system? i want a secondary so badly!!!

Ohhhh. No I have not. How long did it take for you to get an email confirming that they received it?
 
Is it just me or do I have good reason to doubt some of these II posts? When they only have 1-5 posts in their user history and all of them brag about IIs and nothing else....

Don't let the app process make you cynical man. Just look at me, I have a low post number and haven't heard **** 🙂 Be strong, you'll get some IIs!

Some people, like myself, are long-time lurkers rather than posters.

II was by email, no status update. They requested I call to schedule in order to help accommodate my travel plans. Most dates in September are still open and the admissions office staff were very friendly!

False because I post on here and have a few II's already lol. I'll take my chances.
 
Received a II today too during work so I haven't had a chance to schedule yet but I will be calling them tomorrow 🙂

Which is why I said some. Im referring to those people who have "Joined: 2 minutes ago" and "5 messages", 4 of which say "II today. Excited blah blah"...sigh. Maybe overthinking it.

Don't sweat it, man. People like that are quick to announce their accomplishments but are too afraid to show their weaknesses and failures. That does not an excellent physician make. I'm calling them out right now for being too scared to post in the official interview rejection list for this cycle.
 
is anyone still waiting on the first email that confirms that admissions has received the primary?
 
Submitted the secondary today, hoping for OOS love! For those of you still waiting to receive the email that they received your primary, I added Wake on 7/18, received that email on 8/8 and received the secondary yesterday. So it takes a while with all the apps they have.
 
Does anyone have any insight on which hotel is a good place to stay for the interview?

Any hotels near the hospital will probably be more expensive. If you go out near Hanes Mall Blvd prices should be cheaper but you'll have to drive about 10-15 min depending on traffic. You could also look into Hotels near Wake Forest undergrad campus. There are shuttles from undergrad campus to the hospital that run on 30 minute intervals.

Seems like people who submitted their primaries to Wake mid/late in July are still waiting? Thanks for letting me know! 🙂

Anyone OOS still waiting to get a secondary? I kinda added this school last minute in early August after being complete at most schools by 07/10... I just went to a conference at the end of July and loved Wake Forest's presence in tissue engineering and stem cell research!! Dr. Orlando was amazing to talk to and of course Dr. Atala is a legend. 😍

Really hoping for some news from Wake Forest!:xf: I haven't heard anything yet :whistle:. OOS LizzyM 74-75...

Would contacting Dr. Orlando perhaps help? Any thoughts appreciated :=|:-):
 
Does anyone know if it's a death sentence to submit on the deadline day? (as in 3 weeks exactly from when the secondary email was sent) :scared:
