I also interviewed mid to late September. Hoping to hear back soon as well!
 
Alternate list when I checked the portal this afternoon. Interviewed mid-september. No email yet.
 
Just spent too much time going through last year's thread and they really do seem to give out acceptances and IIs on tues thurs fri. Also lot of activity end of oct, mid nov, and end of dec (this one mainly rejections, although this was last cycle so who knows). And apparently **** is unreliable because people were told at their interviews they were the last intervieweees but there were people who got IIs for later dates. Some people who got put on hold july thru sept got IIs jan
 
Silence on my end since interviewing 8/28. I recently emailed them and got a response saying they were open to updates and additional letters.

Submitted Secondary 8/8, was on "re-review" ABOUT a month later (I have no idea when my status actually changed) and then I received the interview 10/22.

I'm sure there are still interviews left, we're still early in the game! 🙂 I had friends interview in Jan-Feb. (not to this specific school) but in general.

I have been on re-review for over a month now. Has anyone been rejected post-hold yet? If yes, then that gives me some hope. If no, then when are they gonna send me the official rejection notice?

Tired of waiting. I did my waiting. 12 YEARS OF IT. in Azkaban.:poke::poke::poke::poke:

It's right after lunch. I interviewed here last week and it was pretty relaxed for the most part. You get a lot of time to ask medical students questions while waiting for your interviewer to pick you up.

You check the portal? Mine changed to the 'alternate status' last week. I interviewed that same week.

Yep! Still says they appreciate my patience while they review my app and all that jazz
 
I interviewed here on 9/17 and checked my portal on Saturday, to find that I was placed in the alternate pool. (GW said they were "pleased to inform me...". I, however, was not so pleased about this news.) Was anyone else annoyed that GW did not bother to email about the waitlist status?

Also was there that day as well! Have been checking, still says they appreciate my patience, but I absolutely see how that is annoying. I've been waitlisted somewhere and they at least emailed me, so I definitely feel your annoyance, I wouldn't be a super happy camper if I was just waiting and waiting and could've known sooner if I had checked the portal.
 
Anyone here interviewing on Friday and maybe want to grab coffee or whatever beforehand? 🙂
 
Does anyone know what the soonest that someone got an interview off of the pre interview re-review hold was last year?
 
I interviewed early to mid septmember and haven't heard anything yet either.

Do you guys think it'll be good to send a little update for what I've done in the past 6 to 7 weeks or so? Or would an update letter/letter of intent not be useful at this point?

If you've checked your portal and you're not waitlisted yet, I would say probably hang tight until they tell you something, but that's just my opinion. It seems like they're getting to the people around that time (some people from my day have been decided on), so hopefully we will hear very soon! If you're waitlisted, then it would for sure be appropriate to send a letter.

Just checked the portal and it still says nothing. I think your right, it seems that they're getting to people around our interview date. I'm gonna wait it out this week and probably until the end of next week too.

It means that the committee is currently reviewing your file.
You should hear back in a couple days whether you're invited for an II, put on hold for re-review, or possible rejection.
 
Did they started sending rejection yet? Completed my secondary in early August, and it still says on hold for re-review. Tired of waiting!

Me too, but it's only October and some people are on hold until spring. If it helps in a twisted way, rejections should start soon.
 
I thought I was doing pretty well with all the waiting but these past few weeks have felt like ten months. I need to get another job just to fill up all my extra hours I waste stressing.

When did you completed your secondary?
 
Anyone know if the adcoms send out good news on particular days, or wait a certain amount of time between waves of acceptances? Not sure what they're up to, but it looks like the doomsday of rejections should be right around now, and more acceptance waves went out by this time last year. Who knows. Patience is a virtue, right?

Received an II on Thursday!

I was complete mid-August and placed on hold for re-review. It's funny, I checked the portal page on a whim on Thursday morning and the status had changed to "being reviewed". How often does this happen?

They originally scheduled me for November 20. I'm interviewing at another DC school on Monday so I asked them nicely if they had space for me on Tuesday, and they said yes! Anyone else interviewing that day?
