As a late October interviewee I was hoping to hear back this week... Looks like I'll be early January!

I heard the GW waitlist moved a fair amount @docade_1 so dont lose hope! Also just an N=1 for this but I noticed people posting on the thread about being waitlisted from my interview date and about a week later I got an acceptance so there might be something to this theory!

Congratulations! Mine just switched from "you're on hold and will be re-reviewed" to "your file is under review". It's making me so nervous! I'm glad you had a good turnout with that message because it gives me hope. Thank you for sharing that info.

Hopefully we all get the switch to under review! I'm still in re-review hell =/
 
seems like no one has heard anything post-interview in a while....maybe they are going to get back to all of us October people at once?
 
Guys, it's my GW secondary-completion 4-month anniversary today (complete ~8/15)! We have been in a "it's complicated" relationship for 4 months now.

Guess what I get?? That's right....continued silence from my GW bae.

Rejected 20 min ago after being on hold for re-review since liiikeee July haha. I got an acceptance today though so I'm not trippin 🙂 good luck to everyone getting IIs/waiting for results and congrats to all accepted!
 
Rejected pre-II. no complaints--- almost feels better than a hold. Good luck to all waiting to hear and congrats to all accepted!
 
II today after being on hold for three months! I'm from Canada so I dont really know the interview style and layout of US medical schools... if someone is nice enough to give me a rundown, please PM or skype me and held a fellow med hopeful out? 🙂
 
Still on hold for re-review since first week of July, no rejection, no II. I've never seen my status go back to under review. Genuinely wondering if they lost my application.

Been on hold/re-review for a while now. No interview for me. Received my email rejection this afternoon. 🙁
Looks like a lot of decisions were made today. Good luck to everyone with interviews and congrats to all that were accepted.

Same here; on hold since some time around September... I am IN LOVE with this school. Really hoping for an interview :xf:
 
This was the first school i was complete at, on 7.24, and the first school i heard from, put on hold a few days after that. Haven't received an update since, but also haven't been rejected. This process is so opaque and non sensible. That said, i have become way less neurotic in the nearly 5 months that have passed.

Middle of October. My stats are close to their median, connections to DC and background matching strengths/resources of the program make it seem like a good fit.
 
Been on hold since July. No II. I guess the rejections are slowly rolling in...
 
For those interviewing, what does the schedule look like? I'm thinking there are still January dates available?

I interviewed in the last week of October and I've been patiently (okay NOT patiently!!) counting down the weeks. A few people who interviewed mid October got accepted this week. I was honestly hoping us late October people would hear back this week as well, but it's probably more realistic we will have to wait until after the holidays 🙁

I don't imagine the admissions office will be open at all next week? Maybe Monday - Wednesday?
 
On hold for re-review since July, still not rejected though yet, so that's awesome.

I'm currently visiting some friends in DC and I've walked past GW med about 400 times. This city and school are unreal--truly phenomenal. So tantalizing to be so close but still not allowed to interview 😛 I even brought my suit!

Hoping to get an interview invite here! Been on hold since August 8!
 
On their website, it says they interview 1100 applicants and interview until March. I don't know how many slots they have left but I'm confident those of us in the running will get a chance.
 
Anyone know if one interview holds more weight? I'd assume the faculty one does but just wanted to check if anyone knew anything more concrete, thanks!
