Not sure if you saw the thread on the Facebook page, but you might want to hold off on buying books until you figure out what ones you actually need physical copies of. There's a Google Drive where you can access digital copies and the library has online access to most "required" texts. I also checked old editions out from the library and just used them for the semester. They keep newer ones on reserve, but most don't change much.For anyone who knows, is there anywhere we can get our books on the cheap or should we just post in the fb group? Also, are any of you getting the optional opthalmoscope? Thanks!
But to answer you questionI always used bigwords to search for cheap books though, it searches amazon, eBay, Abebooks, etc. There is a feinberg free and cheap FB group where I've bought old versions of books from upper classmen.
I don't know of anyone who got the opthalmoscope in my class. I was told you didn't need it unless you end up finding a passion for ENT since they were in patient rooms.
