Me too, still haven't gotten a secondary. Was verified in mid August. This is worrisome..

I'm sure you will get one soon, I finally got one on Friday and I was verified July 16th!

I think MMI is a test - making it easier to select the right candidate for Stanford - the top school.

That is strange, the only other things would be a felony conviction or you are not a US citzen?

Just wondering, is not being a US citizen a detriment to ones application?

Because if it is, it would explain a lot regarding the lack of response I am getting from 99.9% of schools... ah well...

Neither, I'm a DACA recipient. Basically I am considered an international student by most medical schools though.

Basically don't try to send thank-yous for MMIs. It just doesn't make much sense. No one will really remember you anyway, so kinda pointless.

But no, they're not gonna all give you their contact info. That's madness! Sending a general letter to the office is also kinda pointless since they're not gonna forward it on to everyone and so the note loses its purpose altogether.

I really enjoyed meeting other students and interviewees and thought it made the actual interview day much more comfortable.

Absolutely loved Stanford - definitely the best med school in the world, IMO.

I feel like if I haven't heard yet from a top-tier school (Harvard, Yale, Penn, Stanford, Hopkins, etc.), it's unlikely that there's one coming. Is that a fair assumption? Just don't want to keep the hopes up unrealistically.

Does your host live in San Francisco? If they live in Palo Alto, I would definitely encourage going (and showing up a little early--many people were already there by the time I showed up a few minutes after 7). You'll talk to a few students on interview day, but definitely not as many.

Super casual - I think most people wore jeans.

I would definitely recommend it. This is where I learned the most about Stanford and student life. Not as many opportunities during interview day to interact w/ students, besides lunch.

Yup. Complete 8/21 and haven't heard a word... Although, my complete email says that they interview Sept through April. So I guess there's quite a bit of time left for II's. 🤔

I, too, am curious about this. It's been silence since my secondary was turned in (even though they sent me endless reminders to turn it in -_-). I would have suspected a rejection by now if I'm not being contemplated :\

I'm just guessing that they could tell us this Friday. When I interviewed, they said that decisions would start coming out mid-November, every Friday evening.
