BTW, Stanford's secondary deadline was end of October, so perhaps that means things will move faster now.
Here's to hoping...BTW, Stanford's secondary deadline was end of October, so perhaps that means things will move faster now.
I selected an interview in August, and I got the confirmation e-mail in late September... so don't hold your breathFor those of you who received an II, how soon after your selection of the interview date did you receive the e-mail that is supposed to contain "further details" about the interview day?
When did you interview? I interviewed Oct. 15th and they said mid Decemberwow this is way earlier than they told us! On our interview day they said near the end of November/early December. Now I'm nervous haha.
I interviewed on the first day and they told us by middle/end of November and that we should contact them if we heard nothing by then. When did you interview? I interviewed Oct. 15th and they said mid December
Is no news still good news? I submitted my secondary in late July and have not heard a peep since...
I would say 78.5%chances that we get decisions today?
That's a solid A in orgo I'm digging those oddsI would say 78.5%

At interview day, they said they'd let you know if you're deferred/waitlisted/rejected via email, and that if we don't hear back from them, give them a callIf you get in, they call you, but if you get deferred/waitlisted/rejected they don't call or email you, right?

Ok. This is gonna sound odd, but is it just me, or did the font and/or spacing change on the status page after login?
On a lighter note. How cute and awesome is this guys?
Congrats!! when did you interview?Got a call with good news! Looks like they've started moving on some of their earlier interviews.

soo any news? And since I interviewed on the first say, now is the time when I start freaking out and staring at my phone all day long.
I'm not sure if other interview dates were told this, but we were told that acceptance calls were made on Thursday nights every week, right after the committee meeting. Sounds like not everyone was told this?soo any news?

Interesting info. Thanks for that! We can probably assume, they're not going to be making any calls this week then.I'm not sure if other interview dates were told this, but we were told that acceptance calls were made on Thursday nights every week, right after the committee meeting. They didn't say but I would assume so since I was told I wouldn't hear until January (I interviewed in early November and my group was like the 7th interview group)Interesting info. Thanks for that! We can probably assume, they're not going to be making any calls this week then.
Did they mention how many interview days a committee meeting would cover? or shall we assume, 1 committee meeting only covers 1 interview group.
San Jose is closer but you can easily reach the Caltrain station from either which will take you to Palo Alto. SFO is probably cheaper and has better flights so that is what I would use if I were you. They will let you know what group you're in about a week before the interview I believe. For my interview, is it better to fly into San Francisco or San Jose? And for those who have already interviewed, do they e-mail you ahead of time if you are in the early or late group or do you not find out until basically the day of? (i.e. should I book my return flight now for after 8pm just in case I'm in the late group)?
Thanks!!

E-mailed them close to a month ago with an ITA email for the week of Dec 14 since I'll be in SF for another interview. Stock reply saying due to large volume of e-mails, it will take a while for them to get to my message. Never heard back after. Is Stanford receptive to ITA emails? Also, do they interview between Christmas and New Year's or do they completely shut down until early January? I don't want to send an ITA email telling them I will be in San Francisco on the 28th and 29th of December if they aren't even open on those days!
