Just wondering (assuming you received an II): Is the general portal the same portal that you schedule your interview in?

In other words, after you receive an II, does your general portal ever change?

Sorry, can't help. No ii here. But I would be surprised if only some people have the withdraw link - that wouldn't really make any sense?

yeah, pretty odd! Definitely not seeing the withdraw 'tab' - just instructions, status, print, forms, log out, and contact. veeeeeery interesting.

I was also oct 15th and haven't heard... I guess waitlist/reject
I also know there were dates between Oct 15th and Nov 3, so has anyone in those dates heard?

I interviewed on Oct 27, and have not heard anything yet. On my interview day, we were told we would hear back in January. Looking at this thread, it seems like there is - on average - two months between interviewing and hearing of acceptance/waitlist... so if it hasn't reached that two month period yet/when you were told you would hear by, I really wouldn't worry!! Hang in there 🙂

No, I have not called. With all the folks from October 27 also waiting and the acceptance of November 3 folks, I'm just going to wait it out. I'll wait until the first week of January is up and then probably call because Arturo did speak of a possible wait until then---unless I get rejected from now until then.

Complete: late July/early August
Also, they say it makes no difference, but I did undergrad there, so some of my answers may have resonated with the Stanford culture (?)

I think a couple people from early nov(or late oct?) mentioned earlier in this thread they got accepted.... I interviewed october 15 tho and havnt heard anything.. during my interview they said to call at the end of january if we still hadn't heard so I'm waiting till then to contact them

That thought briefly crossed my mind given how late in the cycle we are. However, I've seen no evidence to support it. Lots of people from earlier in the cycle have been rejected or wait listed already. Until someone from the school says otherswise, I'm just going to assume they still have a few acceptance offers left. I'm just excited I have a reason to visit the farm!!

Just checked the website, you're right...they interview till April 2016. Wow -- must be b/c of the involved/complicated nature of organizing MMIs.

This is a long shot for me anyway, and at this point in the cycle, wondering if I have absolutely anything to lose.

I don't think Stanford accepts any pre-interview correspondence.. but I might be wrong.

This is SDN lore and not really a thing, except at a few schools where apparently they tell you this is so in the II email (but like why??????????)
