Accepted just now. Interviewed in Dec. Not sure if ill be attending. I have a week to commit AHHHHH
 
Accepted a few days ago! UB is my top choice so I will definitely be attending.

Is there a Class of 2020 facebook page out there?

Interview April 11? I thought they only interviewed on Wednesdays. Anyway, Congrats! the list still moves!!

The MD/PhD students interviewed with me so I don't think so. And also Mr. Rosso said they only contact people for acceptances during business hours. This guy sounds butt hurt lol XD

lol its his only post too. ya hey guys my interview was actually a skype call on a weekend and i got accepted via snapchat last night. hooray for waitlist movement!

Though in fairness, I have actually heard that one medical school does do skype/phone interviews: Western Michigan, if my memory serves me right.

They do in person interviews too. The phone interview is just an initial screening.
 
my goodness, i would pack up all of my stuff and move halfway across the country in a heartbeat if i got off this waitlist. i wish we could all get in together though! how cool would it be if we finally got to meet superfrogpoke, richard_rooster, etc. in real life??

long shot, but it never hurts to stay positive! still rooting for every one of you! 🙂 hope y'all are at least having a little fun during your summer!

Lol wow you guys are harsh. I didn't make this post exactly when I got the acceptance email (got it on the morning of May 16th) - I just came here because I was excited and couldn't find the facebook group for the class. I usually stay off SDN because reading about this kind of stuff just stresses me out. And yea I did put the wrong interview day - it was Wednesday April 6th.

I'm sorry if you haven't received an acceptance but, even if you did think it was fake, you're still going after a potential classmate - seems a poor move.

i realized later on you probably just made a mistake but my comment was more of a roast/joke not meant as a serious personal attack lol. and idk why you would think i would use my real name on the internet lol

I don't think that, just meant it would be better to stay positive regardless. And I didn't take it as a serious personal attack, no hard feelings on my end.
 
Dam the silence is real.... does anyone know if Buffalo does direct phone calls every year in the beginning of July and if so about how many people get the call? Yes, I'm getting desperate and already shooting for that lottery jackpot 🙁

I think direct phone calls are different every year. At least from who I spoke with, there were no consistent times (some say mid of June, others say beginning of July). From this, my assumption is that they do direct phone calls when they get to the last few open seats, because it doesn't make sense to do direct phone calls if there were, for example, 30 open seats

Sooooo maybe there is still a decent amount of seats open considering its June? I hope......

last year it was early july. i think it depends on how far they get down the list at a certain date
 
Well if we see a direct phone call email there is at least 1 seat left is what I was trying to get at *fingers crossed*😉

i dont think thats true. spots open up as people withdraw. i think most schools have been filled for a while and a lot of schools were over filled. like on traffic day a lot of people withdraw and then there is a lot of movement to get those spots filled.

Wait... so you're saying if we get an email from them stating they will be switching to direct phone calls, that they wouldn't call anyone that day? Last year, they sent an email to waitlisters that on July 1st 2015 they will fill the gaps in class via LIVE contact. I doubt they would go through the trouble of sending the email and not call anyone? I'm confused... then again, no one posted that they were accepted by phone....

they only accept people off of the waitlist if people withdraw
