When you were complete if you don't mind me asking for these pre-interview holds? I've been waiting for ANY response at all for weeks.

completed in early AugustWhen you were complete if you don't mind me asking for these pre-interview holds? I've been waiting for ANY response at all for weeks.
So with these pre-interview holds.. has anyone heard back in previous threads..
Put on hold. Feeling very demotivated, this is the third school that put me on hold and no II so far 🙁

IS, from the area, did research and volunteering at Upstate

yeah but they technically accept a number of Canadians every year. Let's wait and see if another Canadian gets an II here with different statsYes, but I do not mean this offensively in anyway, but you're a Canadian….so you're an international applicant.
What are your stats? Are you in state?
Also Canadian here, no II yet, put on "pre-interview hold". But I found this on their website: "Throughout the application process, Canadian students are treated the same as US residents in that they must complete the same pre-requisite course work, application requirements etc." But that's all they have to say about that.Yes, but I do not mean this offensively in anyway, but you're a Canadian….so you're an international applicant.

This is odd: I got a complete email 8/26, and then an application received tonight 9/1. Does this make sense?
II! First one!
I'll be traveling from NYC.
Does anyone have any recommendations for lodging or how to get to Syracuse (MegaBus, Greyhound, Amtrak)? I wanted to stay somewhere cheap and walking distance to the school.
Same although I was complete a few days later...Can anyone tell me how to check the status? Should I use the same secondary application link? Thanks!
I received the complete email on July 31.
Edit: found the answer from previous discussion. There is still no change at all in my portal...
Congrats! When were you complete?Forgot to post on Monday, but II recieved! LizzyM 70.5, IS.
Thank you! And I got the complete email on 7/29. Good luck to all.Congrats! When were you complete?
Anyone else notice that there's now a "withdraw MD Medicine Application" button next to the processed app link? It wasn't there yesterday... Maybe it's a suggestion :/
Noticed that today too
Has the "Withdraw MD Application" button always been there? I just checked the portal today and that was the first time I noticed it.
II stands for interview invite.Completed my secondary a few days ago, waiting on my Aug 21 MCAT score. What does II stand for? It looks like secondaries but most of you place it in context of interviews.
II stands for interview invite.
Really though. Haha I've seen some MDApps that use "2°" for secondary, and while that makes everything more concise, I just don't have the time to insert the degree symbol lolRoman numerals ruin everything, huh? 😛

Yep Weiskotten Hall. So, dumb question, but this interview is taking place at Weiskotten Hall, correct? There were no precise instructions at to which room/ building to congregate to; but given
that the invite gives details on parking near Weiskotten, I'm presuming that's where the MMI will take place.
MS1 here folks.
Just had an exam so I'm pretty free this weekend. Shoot me any questions you might have.
Upstate puts a massive amount of effort into creating a collaborative and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is ridiculously helpful and enthusiastic and I never got a single bad vibe from anyone. There are like a bazillion directors of different student affairs who try to make your experience as amazing as possible. How did the exam go?
Just kidding.
How has your first few weeks been in Medical school? is there anything different/special about Upstate that you've noticed compared to other schools?
Do they send you an email about being on hold or does it say so on the status page?
Wait, where does it mention the hold on the status page? I don't see it on mine, but I did get the e-mail.Both

Whoa, you ain't talking for 6-8 minutes straight, man. It's a 6 minute conversation, haha. How's everyone prepping for their MMI?
Talking for six-eight minutes seems daunting 🙁
Wasn't sure if they were going to ping pong with us. Some schools apparently stare at you and contribute nothing to the overall conversation.Whoa, you ain't talking for 6-8 minutes straight, man. It's a 6 minute conversation, haha.
