I interviewed Oct. 5th and no I was regular decision! They called me and left a voicemail.

That's strange. From past SDN threads, it seemed as though rejections were always snail mail and never so early in the cycle.

I am truly sorry to hear about the rejection...but I have to admit that this comment made me start laughing out loud at work
It can't be THAT bad, with 2 acceptances already!

Lol I'm glad I could make you laugh. And yeah my cycle has been going great but today I woke up to two rejections which stung a little.

I went to the communication tab and saw that an email was sent that day (still haven't received it....) and you can view the message they sent.

I emailed admissions because people were finding out their status that interviewed after me and they said I should find out within the next two weeks!

Awesome! Thanks man. I was getting nervous about others who interviewed after me getting their decisions as well. I hope they are just trying to make sure that they love me so they can offer an admission lol.

Awesome! I always imagined finding out about my Maryland acceptance in the middle of a gym session so it's funny that it actually happened to somebody. Congrats again!

Smile, relax, be sincere. and be yourself. They're just trying to get to know you, there was no pressure at all. And of course be polite to everybody.

Applied back in July (LizzyM around 75). Complete silence since. UMD is my state school so it kind of sucks to be waiting with nothing so far from them. The only good thing is I have 5 II's but I would really like to have a shot at my own state school, for obvious reasons. Anyone else in this boat?
