For those who were accepted and put in the deposit.. did your deposit confirmation say 'secondary application fee'? And it was only $100, right? I got a second email from Drexel saying that they've received my deposit and yada yada so I'm not too worried that I'll lose my seat but I just wanted to double check.

On the applicant portal under Admissions Decision, there's a tab that says "Important Dates and Requirements...", click that and you'll see the things you have to do before matriculation. The second bullet point has links to the instructions on how to go about the FBI Fingerprinting, the PA Child Abuse thing, and the background check 🙂. Just click the titles of each!

Also, I was going to email Drexel today about those files because the dates they include to complete the background check, etc. are blank. Like it says (at least on my computer) "Documentation of FBI fingerprinting must be submitted by no later than ______" and the rest is empty lol. Is anyone else having this issue???

You'll get an email/letter in the mail (IIRC) probably in January/February with all the instructions. I BELIEVE the immunization instructions were included with all of that. But I remember getting an email from Certiphi sometime after the new year. (I was also accepted in December so idk if that matters)

I just checked my old emails and all of that plus immunizations records/titers/physical/PPD were all due July 15th. (Current MS2)..so I imagine that won't change much because of waitlist movement and such. But I'd email either way.

Hold today. Complete 8/14. I'm guessing that the chances of getting an interview from here are slim now? I really like Drexel.
 
Complete late July, haven't heard anything yet and OOS. Should I take this as a good sign?

I'm just now noticing that they have "you may upload a resume" on the portal. Is this something the school is asking for or is it just a suggestion? Did anyone upload a resume before interviewing?
 
Hey everyone, so I already submitted an update about a month ago regarding my acceptance into a new job (clinically related).

I just realized that you can only submit 1 update on the portal. Would it be a terrible idea to e-mail them another update regarding the shadowing opportunities (many surgeries) I've had + my relation to the city of Philly? This is Pre-II btw

Not worth the update + bad idea to try to send 2 updates when they say they can only accept 1 imo

I did not because everything on my resume was already on my AMCAS

Congrats! How was your interview day? I read other people's posts saying it was pretty relaxed. Did you think it was conversational, or did they grill you with questions? Thanks!
 
I was complete 7/25 and have not heard anything yet, not even on hold. Does Drexel review apps in order they came in or randomly like some other schools do? /do they also do silent rejections? A bit nervous over here...

My interview was very chill and relaxed. Not really any hard questions, but I had to answer why Drexel, which was expected. The lunch interview wasn’t even an interview really lol. Just ate and talked about the school.
 
Anyone from 9/27 or before not hear back? Does this mean we are rejected? Should I reach out to the school?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

They're designed to be super chill, but be aware that they do send in an evaluation of you to admissions. (Just for everyone here to know)

Complete same day. Had one really early II and that didn't go well. Now no new II for over 3 months. Beyond nervous.

Same for me. Interviewed late September and still absolutely no news - good or bad. Hopefully soon. I think I saw a post on this thread from a current student who said they had to wait the full 8-10 weeks, so maybe that’s the case for us too. GL to both of us
