What time have acceptances/decisions in general come out (on the portal)?
Portals have typically cleared at around 11am on Tuesdays (sometimes later for some) with either a quick change to an acceptance message or no update until an email a couple of days later that you're on the HPA list, hold list, or rejected.
For those accepted, how did you feel about your performance on the mmi?
I felt that mine went ok. It was not my best performance but also not my worst. I remember straight up for one station asking about something and I gave an answer and then my interviewer said can you think of another example? That threw me off making me think I messed up.
I’ve been on Pre II hold since November? Should I consider this a soft reject at this point? Would love some love from my state school!
12/18 interviewees - do you think we will get a decision tomorrow?
Does anyone know if there is an accepted students FB page yet?
Has anyone from the mid December group heard anything yet? 12/13 or 12/18? I've seen a few 12/11's back there

Mine is like that too- I think it happened sometime this morning. No idea what it means. When did you interview?
Just checked mine is like that too. I can't imagine it being a post-II hold. They said a hold is an official decision status of a hold. Hopefully just means our decisions are coming

Have you called yet? Because at my interview they said they were just starting to review applications from the beginning of January...
Yep, I've called about 3x since jan 30th, at this rate I'm running I'm gonna start annoying them. Everytime same sphiel, no decision recorded for you.

Just checked and my portal is cleared. Interviewed 1/8. Anyone else cleared or hear back?
Also interviewed 1/8, portal cleared a long time ago, then uncleared, then more recently changed to "Your application is under committee review, and you will be notified as soon as a decision has been made."
I remember being told we'd hear back by the end of second week of Feb
Same thing happened to me, then I checked again this morning and my portal is totally cleared again. Yes I remember them saying that too. I have been checking every day since I noticed my portal cleared initially about 3 weeks ago. At least we haven't been waiting since mid December like some other people. Hope the decision is coming soon though...
Its been brutal. I was told that when I went in DECEMBER (!) I would hear by end of Jan, and here we are nearing end of Feb
Hi, I am a MS3 at Upstate. Congrats to all who got accepted. For those who are on the waiting list, stay calm and remember you have done everything you can. For those who got rejected don't feel discouraged. If you made it to the interview, you are good enough for the school (trust me).
For living wise, a lot of people stay on Geneva or Madison/Jefferson for convenience. If living off campus is your thing you can look around as there should be plenty of good locations (SU area, Westcott, Dewitt, Liverpool). Driving should not be an issue even in the snow since the city does a good job of cleaning up the streets. For websites, you can either try orangehousing.com or join the FB group at Upstate.
As for supply, the only things you would need is a stethoscope, white coat, and a reflex hammer. A Neer card is useful to have but not really needed.
Shoot me with any other questions.

Ah! This is giving me hope! I've sent them 2 updates and got a response from them thanking me so I'm praying for some good news
damn sorry to hear.
It’s all good! I loved the school, but this is how it goes... my stats were much lower than theirs anyway, so I wasn’t expecting much.

Mine too!!! It was "under review" from Feb 13th at the latest and just cleared today. Interviewed end of January.

Accepted earlier today through the portal! No email. Interviewed 12/13
