By the way I have. 9 months of my kaplan access left.... anyone ever had success selling their access?

Historically, a good portion of the class has been pulled from the waitlist. I know people in my class who got in from the waitlist after interviewing on some of the last dates, although this was 2014 so it may be different now. I think if you're still interested in coming here, it's definitely worth keeping your interview. This happens every year. For whatever reason, they fill the class pretty early.

Is the class full for the Lexington campus or the BG campus? I did not receive this email and am waiting to hear back from BG campus.

I know Lexington is full, I think bowling green still has available spots. Hopefully u will hear something this week. Or after the holiday

Status updated on their site! Interviewed in Dec. Alternate pool or rejections are the only options but I have been placed in alternate list 🙁 still a bummer but hopeful!

Thanks guys I hope so too 🙂 Also I checked my status online! I don't know if bowling green acceptances are also through the portal but thats how I got mine. They also send a letter but I was impatient.
 
My status changed to Admissions Committee Review Complete but haven't received any correspondence yet. I called the admissions office and it went straight to voicemail. Anyone have anything similar happen to them? Applying to the BG campus..

I have also heard nothing. I know the committee met this past Thursday and they said we should hear something via mail by January 1st. However, I do not want to wait that long...
 
Anyone know how many people are typically put in the alternate pool and how many people they typically accept out of it?
 
Anyone going to this weekend's second look? Kinda bummed but I can't make the trip

I know everyone is so quiet. It was basically a bigger version of the open house. They showed how many rotation sites we available, financial aid information, NIH funding, and student groups and resources available.

Bowling green definitely, But I’m pretty sure bowlin green meets with the Lexington campus as well for final approval. So it’s probably both. Hope you get some good news.

So since the committee is meeting today and assuming they make a decision on my file today when should I expect to hear a response by? Today, tomorrow a week? I’m sorry I’m just so anxious I just want to know haha

I want to say tomorrow. If not then no more than a week after they meet. They typically call then send a letter
 
Probably within three days. I got a call a day after the day I was expecting to know. So, give it some time.

Thanks! That helps ease my mind a little bit because I’ve been nervously waiting since the 18th. Probably won’t hear until at least Monday now since it’s the weekend.
 
Has anyone gotten a call yet from when the admissions committee met on the 18th? Also, I can’t access my secondary portal anymore. Has anyone else had this problem?

The portal is closed for this admission cycle. I’m admitted and can’t see mine either.
We have not had anyone new added to the Facebook pages since the last round of acceptances went out if that makes u feel any better... give it a few more days I feel like they tend to call on Thursday and fridays. So maybe tomorrow??

If u did miss the call from bowlin green the admin office in Lexington will know also, so call them! Hopefully it’s great news! Also I think the last 4 of the phone number are 3411

I got asked a good bit about the things I had put in my application essays for instance, I live very close to the campus I applied to and they wanted to know if I specifically chose it because of location or something else. The rest of the interview was pretty conversational.

well that'll be great lol, I filled out my secondary in like September and its hard to recall what exactly I wrote about, but Oh well, I can kinda guess what I said

Theoretically it is a rolling basis so any time someone denies an acceptance UK can extend one. But typically the largest movement is Mid May-June.
 
I interviewed for Lexington. Does anyone know if we get considered for bowling green as well?

You do not, you can only apply to one campus at a time. If you were put on hold at Lexington then later in the cycle if BG has open spots they might ask you to interview but when I went to my interview in January at BG they told me the class was very close to full.

If you’re potentially interested in another campus you need to let the admissions office know, otherwise you won’t be considered for that campus at all.

Received my second rejection today. First R was pre-secondary at beginning of cycle unless I expressed strong ties to the state. I did not. Got the axe again today. For those who are wondering:

LizzyM 69. OOS. Not URM. Did not receive secondary, but primary submitted late July.
 
Does anyone know when they'll send out emails about our status? They met on the 15th right?
