Just curious, how long did it take them to discover this and get back to you? I submitted mine the other day and I can't find a signature on them anywhere so I think ill run into the same problem.
I sent it over the weekend so presumably Monday the same day someone received it

For those waiting... my boredom was at an all time high so I went through and looked up when all the WL movements occurred over the past few years:

2016-2017: late Feb, late March, mid May (2/24; 2/26; 3/30; 5/11)
2015-2016: early March, mid-late March, mid May, mid-late of June (3/3; 3/21; 5/16; 6/21)
2014-2015: late Feb, late April, early May, mid-late May, late May (second tier) (2/23; 4/30; 5/10; 5/20; 5/26)

My guess is we'll start hearing back Friday (hopefully). Looks like about 3-4 "batches" of WL movement per year. Of course this doesn't include those who don't post to SDN/ they could change it up this year.. so I guess take it with a grain of salt.

Ok so this is just going to show that I'm a horrible procrastinator, but please help me out here. Given the March 1st deadline for financial aid does everything need to be in by tonight or by tomorrow? I'm trying to get it all in but... it might not be in by midnight EST...wow I have to stop doing this to myself...thanks!

It was bolded and distinictly in the center of my financial aid email:/ I am literally smart enough to have forgotten February was a short month.. I thought I had a few more days left:/

If tomorrow ends up being the day we start hearing back, I just want to say best of luck to everyone. I hope we can all be classmates!

Hey I had called and the lady said she didn't know when we would find out but she said not a lot of people withdrew yet :/

Thought you withdrew Pitt for Mayo? Why go to Pitt second look?

That's a main reason why I withdrew. If they had been on separate weekends I would have gone to both and made a more informed decision based on how I vibed. But since they are the same time and Mayo is my #1 unless for some reason I really vibed with classmates at Pitt and I will never know then there is no reason to hold onto the spot.

I don't remember getting a pen:wtf:, now I have to find that interview folder.

Does anyone happen to know Pitt’s policy about dropping a class after admission? (Not a grad requirement or listed on AMCAS, but I would drop below full-time status)

Does anyone know how many people participate in the summer research program/prologue to medicine program? I’m still waiting on a few decisions from other schools before committing to Pitt but I also don’t want to be disadvantaged if I were only one of few who didn’t participate in these programs

I don’t have exact numbers, but a handful of people did do the program. (Majority didn’t, including me). Without prologue I personally don’t think you’re going to be at any disadvantage, depending on your strengths coming out of undergrad. As for research, plenty of opportunity to do research depending on how you manage your time. I personally wouldn’t sweat it.

This is just my paranoia speaking, but we don't need to do anything other than filling out the admitted student info thing on the portal in order to accept our acceptance offer right?
