Congratulations! I think the most time consuming thing for me was the immunization record submission through Castle Branch (and basically meeting all of the specific requirements for documentation). Welcome!Got accepted this week! See you all in Seattle in a few short weeks 🙂
I may be asking you all for help to make sure I get all of my paperwork in by the July 13th deadline. Any other waitlisters fell a little rushed?

Does anyone know if we get to keep our UW emails after we graduate?
Ah that is awesome, thank you!You do! It’s a forever thing, which is so so awesome
What are you guys planning on doing for health insurance during med school? I think I remember reading that UWSOM does not provide any health insurance options...
Wait, really? You do! It’s a forever thing, which is so so awesome
I'm having trouble completing the HIPAA training. After registering, I never received an email with instructions to access the training. Anyone else have this issue/could anyone give some guidance on this? I emailed the UW Compliance email, but haven't heard back yet.
YAS fam!Wait, really?
Hmmm haven't been getting that error...I don't think I found that email either - I just found the site and registered online. I think at this link? Click "Take This Training" and then "Register".

Also @BombsAway , YES re: CastleBranch. Is anyone else having perfectly fine documents just repeatedly dropped from their web site after submission?
I have not gotten anything 🙁(

also @tRNA272 , just to follow up - do you mean the general UWSOM scholarship application? I was an alternate acceptance and got an email from Diane Noecker with a link to apply to UWSOM scholarships in May. It said in the e-mail that all required materials have to be submitted by May 31st, which does seem like a really raw deal for alternate acceptances if you can't apply after that date.
It was a super straightforward application for 1st and 2nd year students - really just financial information and a few items about preferred specialties, etc. I haven't heard anything more about the results, but I hear they don't actually let you know your scholarship amount until during the academic year.
Has anyone else been having issues with Castebranch where it says your Hep B booster and vaccine are "overdue" yet you haven't had enough time to complete it? Scared this will effect my compliance
I'm worried since the website says it's ok for it to be in series.
Castle Branch rejected my TB stuff becasue they can't read dates properly. Pretty cool timing, the day before the deadline. Hope I can still go to med school. UW got me regretting turning down all those other good schools rn.

Did your TB happen to change its due date? Mine changed to end of August, QuantiFeron test just came back yesterday so hope I'm fine, but wondering if that due date actually changed...Castle Branch rejected my TB stuff becasue they can't read dates properly. Is there an E18/Co2022 Facebook page? I was admitted late and might have missed it, but would love to be a part of it if there is one.
When you call castle branch, the number is xxx-666-xxx, because they are the devil.
Castle Branch dispatches a Coug to deliver the final crushing blow to your dreamsMy TB got rejected again.... So like what happens to us if its past the date?
I saw your cross post in WSU's. To me, I interpret UW and WSU's admissions process pretty unique compared to other schools. I don't think it affects it that much if you apply late (to these two schools). I obviously do think earlier the better. But I truly think if you are going to apply later, then you need to have a good application, because by the time everything goes through for you, they have already read a big portion of your peers' apps. This was my reapplication year, and I applied 2 wks before last year, but was still very late. I still got to interview at both school with people who applied a lot earlier than I had. If you truly think you have an excellent app and just needed more time to either write or get things together, I support that. But if you are just wishy washy, I think I should apply this year, then waiting a few more months doesn't hurt.Did anyone apply "late" or interview "late" and get accepted?
If you don't mind sharing details, please DM me? I might be in that boat this year and have a couple of questions.
Thank you!

In the email you were supposed to get a registration key. I went to the link and registered as a new member and it allowed me to enter a course with the key. I haven’t gone through the module, but I think it’s like a pre training for immersion/orientation?Does anyone know what the Heartcode BLS is that we got an email about and when we’re supposed to do it?
Heartcode BLS - Its the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR for Healthcare Providers) class that does a mixture of online and in-person training. Basically you do the online portion (which takes time and involves videos, a quiz, etc.) and print the certificate, before showing up for the 2 hour in-person check-off.Does anyone know what the Heartcode BLS is that we got an email about and when we’re supposed to do it?
How about peeps send me an email ([email protected]) from their UW email, and then we can figure out a group email not on a public forum?Hey, everyone (if anyone is still checking)! When are we getting together IRL?!?!
